Most surprising good experience?

What's the experience at Disney World that you enjoyed the most that you had the lowest expectations for. For me it would probably be either eating at the Plaza or my first trip on the teacups.

Recently our trip to Naples 45 at Disneyland was a very pleasant surprise. At Disney World I'd have to say riding Big Thunder Mountain in the back. The difference was amazing.

The Little Mermaid stage show. I wasn't fussed about seeing it but then totally enjoyed it.

I felt the same way about several of the shows like that. You'd think I would have learned.

Off the top of my head I'd have to say my second ride on Test Track. I did not care for it at all the first time (was hot and miserable all day), but loved it the second time.

That reminds me of a good one. I think we talked about on one of the threads that BTMRR is an entirely different (and better) ride in the back seat.

This makes me think I should re-try Test Track. Our first experience was horrible..the ride broke down and we got stuck in line for over 2 hours when the wait time said 20 minutes.

I think our most surprising good experience was at Rose & Crown. I was a member of another message board for a long time and this place always got mediocre reviews..so I just threw it on as an extra for one trip because of the Illuminations view. We thought the food, the service, the view..everything was just so amazing! I had a hard time believing people didn't like it!

Rose and Crown is great! I don't think I've had anything there that wasn't good.

I really like wandering around Mickey's Toon Town Faire and going through Mickey and Minnie's houses. I know it's mostly for kids, but I think the little details are amazing.

Very sad that they'll "be no more" pretty soon.

Living with the Land. I'd never done it before and on my last trip, I had some time to kill in Epcot, so I figured "what the heck". I thought it would be boring. I actually really enjoyed it. It was fascinating.

Ooh, I love living with the land. I look forward to someday making time to do the behind the seeds tour.

Ooooh, I LOVE Living with the Land. Plan to do the Behind the Seeds tour in December as well.

The Behind the Seeds Tour is such a great deal. It's around $20, and you get some great insights into how Disney's being innovative in the food-production industry. Very cool.
