Must-Do Shops in Disney World

We're not big shoppers, but I've been reading some interesting posts on shops that I didn't know anything about. Do you have any favorite Disney shopping locations?

I love the pin shops. Each park has its own Pin Shop, not just little ones, but a full size one and we always check them out.

I love to browse the Concourse Shops at the Contemporary. I don't know why, but I always find what I want there. Then all of the countries in WS of course (think we had a thread on that once upon a time?) and the pantry shop at DTD that's connected to EoS. OH!- and the Christmas shop is fun, too.

World of Disney has named an aisle or 2 (or maybe a wing by now) after me, I think.....we love the Pantry Shop and Christmas shop in DTD as well. Otherwise we just wander in and out of just about all of them looking for pins and shirts and anything else I can slip by Joe when he's not looking....

Most often-heard phrase when we get home is from Joe: "I don't remember buying this!"

Er...

I had a bad experience in the one in Epcot. We had gotten something at the DTD location and the cast members at Epcot were telling customers that they couldn't get things that I KNEW they could, because I saw them do it. They claimed there were no posters anywhere and that they couldn't call other locations and ask. Seriously? You CAN call the other Disney arts stores and ask them. Before the family left disappointed I told them they could call the DTD store themselves and ask. The 10 year old girl's face lit up and her parents thanked me explaining it was the one thing she wanted for her birthday.

So I will only go to the one in DTD or the one in DHS (they were REALLY nice and helpful there too).

For two years I was looking at this picture of Stitch sitting with the ugly duckling book reading it to the other little ducks around him. Kinda like this one, but a little more artsy:

Just for a photocopy of it was going to be like 50 bucks in the size I wanted and this was at Downtown Disney. But luckily this last Christmas, my Mom got it for me. I just love the Disney art. The Downtown Disney one also had some hand drawn stuff... and man... those werent cheap either! So yeah... I know not to go into the one at Epcot, and the one at Downtown Disney... I accidentally looked around... lol

I agree with everyone who commented on the art stores! I have 6 16x20vintage ride posters in nice frames hanging in my living room.
