Hello! With 19 days to go until our trip, I am getting antsy and thought I'd work on our pre-trip report. This is my boyfriend Ryan's first trip to WDW, and I haven't been in about 7 years, so we (ok, mostly just me) have been planning a bit obsessively. Without further ado, here are our plans:
Tuesday, September 10th: We arrive around 4pm, and take the Magical Express to Port Orleans Riverside. This is the night we are going to MNSSHP, so we will probably just grab a quick dinner at the resort counter service restaurant and then head over to Magic Kingdom ASAP.
Wednesday, September 11th: Epcot! We are planning to be up for rope drop, which should be interesting when we're adjusting to the 3-hour time difference. Probably going to do lunch at Sunshine Seasons, and we have ADRs for an early dinner at San Angel Inn.
Thursday, September 12th: Magic Kingdom! This will be a rope drop to park closing sort of day because we really want to see as much as possible. No ADRs, I will survive on Dole Whip and Mickey Bars alone.
Friday, September 13th: Heading to Animal Kingdom in the morning, and having breakfast with Donald! Planning to hit as much of AK as possible before heading over to DHS in the early evening for Brown Derby, Fantasmic, and the Villains Party (though I haven't heard anything else about this since LTM was originally announced, we are planning on it).
Saturday, September 14th: Ryan's birthday! We will probably head to DHS in the morning to finish up anything we feel like we missed, but we're playing this by ear. We will definitely be heading to Epcot in the evening for his birthday dinner at Le Cellier.
Sunday, September 15th: No plans! This is the only day that I made no touring plans for. We will head to whichever park we feel like we need to visit again in the morning, or maybe take the boat ride to DTD. We will end the night at Magic Kingdom because of EMH, plus it seems like a magical way to end the trip.
Monday, September 16th: We leave in the afternoon, so we'll probably spend our final morning just wandering around the resort and soaking up all the Disney magic we can before we have to come back to reality!
We have been to Disneyland 3 times together (and Ryan used to go all the time when he was growing up in southern California), so I would say I'm probably most excited to see the rides that are unique to WDW. I am looking forward to seeing the different version of our favorite rides too, though!
We also got Photopass Plus, have any of you used it? Neither of us has a nice camera and we thought it would be the easiest way to make sure we have plenty of photos from the trip.
