When I looked at my DCL reservation info for 12/26 today - I saw they had added information about the Navigator app that had been tested on the Fantasy. It's now expanded to the Dream! Can't wait to see if this is a help or a hindrance....I like putting my phone away while I'm onboard....enhances the feeling of escape!

Cool. I turned my phone off when we boarded. It was nice disconnecting from the world and internet for 7 days. They place a new navigator on your bed during turn down service each night. They are also located all over the ship if you need one. Yay for your cruise!

As it has been explained to me by NHshorty (who is a very experienced Disney cruiser), the Navigator is a daily publication that contains information about the goings on on each Disney ship. For example, it tells you when Bingo is played, or what movie is playing in the theater (or theatre). fyi - we are hoping to see Saving Mr. Banks in the Walt Disney Theater on board the Dream during our cruise right after Christmas.
It's a pretty impressive full color document with great graphics.
I am not sure how they keep your phone app up to date on a daily basis during the cruise. We will check it out and report on it.
