Need Help from all of my Disney loving friends (especially from those with kids)

My niece, Alaina, is turning 8 at the end of the month. When I asked her what she'd like for her birthday, she said..."Something Disney". When I asked what she had in mind, she said..."you always get me the coolest gifts, you pick". No pressure there!!!! So now I need to find a VERY COOL Disney gift, and I'm desperate for ideas. Got any?

The Agent P plush just came out. There's also the Disney themed board games like Clue, Scene It, and Trivial Pursuit. You can get most park merchandise from WDW Merch 407-363-6200. They may even have some cool ideas.

I would go with Mickey Ears. There are soooooo many to choose from and they can be very special.

Last November the DW and I has the pleasure of taking my 8 year old neice to the world for her first trip. We took alot of pictures plus the photopass. The DW made a picture book on Shutterfly for her birthday.

Each time we go we pick out a cute shirt or outfit for our niece! One year we bought her a pink and red Minnie Mouse shirt with *bling* all around Minnie! She LOVED it! We took her with us this past November and she picked out a white cotton zip up hoodie with Minnie Mouse on the back...and you guessed it, Minnie had *bling* all around her.

The themed board games are a cute idea as well!!! She would probably appreciate them if she loves playing games or has someone to play them with her. I bought HM Life for my friends kids. It looks pretty neat!!! They put it together but have not played it yet. I saw some themed Yahtzee games throughout the parks in Nov.

Our niece also picked out a charm bracelet and loved it!

DH loves Epic Mickey but I think it may be too difficult for an 8 yr old. Our niece still can't play it and she just turned 9. We have Toy Story Mania for the Wii that's fun!!!!!

Toy Story Mania isnt really that great for the Wii... but im comparing it to the actual ride. I would say Epic Mickey... but our 8 year old played it once and just didnt take. But thats just my opinion...

sad

Does she have a cellphone yet? There Re some cool phone cases or charms. My 8 year old niece loved trading pins. I bought her and my nephews lanyards with several pins, they kept several and traded a few.

I bought my niece a bracelet for Christmas that had a Mickey charm on it and it said "Girls Rule" on "Smart and Strong" on the other.

Wow, I'm about as far out of my element as possible. Hahaha!

I have absolutely no idea, but I like the JoAnn's suggestion, and I like ears. Maybe personalized with her name.

Do you think she might like a vinylmation? They have a TON of series and options. Maybe one would fit into something else she is really into. I think that would be pretty cool.

I hang with 8 year olds all day long..and all my little girls are SO into those books where you can design clothes. One of my little sweeties had this the other day: http://www.amazon.com/Tara-Disney-Princess-Fashion-Designer/dp/B003XT1H34

It is a fashion designer thing where they can create different outfits. My girls almost died when she pulled it out at recess.

That sounds really cool! Like something even I'd want to play with. Thanks, Bella!
