Did you get your Facebook URL?

Anyone stay up until midnight to grab their URL last night? I'm shocked the system didn't crash!

I don't need a URL to post. If people know me, they know my name and can search for me...or they can ask me and I will tell them. I don't need people to try to put the usernames I use on other sites to try to find me.

It is even more of FB being like MySpace, which really irks me. This is just the most recent change...and it doesn't do anything for me!

I read an interesting article about how Facebook might be sowing the seeds of it's own destruction. As it starts to make itself more and more like the "real internet" people might stop and ask themselves why they just aren't on the real internet.

Hi,

I find Facebook an obsessive time sink, because I'm always trying to improve my levels in the games Mafia Wars, Pirates, Special Forces, and Street Racing. But this morning, as I had all four games running simultaneously, my AVG found a virus and I clicked "Heal". By the way, the link to my profile is a long one. I can be found there under my real name, but I have no pictures.

Brad--just heard that Facebook's lifting that requirement at 12:01pm June 28th. All pages can get the vanity URLs that day.

Figured you needed a big name for the dad..
A kind of ditsy mom to complement him...
For some reason Doctor Phil with that accent as a gangster struck me as funny...
And I was watching Graham Norton on BBC America the other night. Kurt Russell was his guest and they showed stills from all the movies where Kurt has worn an eyepatch. Tiz a bunch!
