New Burgers and Sundaes Dinner Experience At DAK's Restaurantosaurus

http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2019/06/11/new-burgers-and-sundaes-dinner-experience-coming-to-animal-kingdoms-restaurantosaurus/

To me Restaurantosaurus has always struggled a bit from identity crisis. It looks like they are going to try and kick the burgers up a notch with a new "dining experience." This is sort of a counter service prix fixe, where guests can select an entree and a side dish, then build their own sundae! The entree choices will include gourmet burgers, a chicken sandwich, a veggie burger, and a salad, while sides will offer a choice of fries or onion rings served with a house-made dipping sauce.

The pictures in the article don't blow me away, but I'm always up for giving new things a try at least once.

What are your thoughts on this one?

Sounds fun. It is one credit on the quick service dp. We are not massive great drinkers but the qsdp gives the option that your drink can be alcoholic when the meal is purchased. This is non alcoholic but you get dessert and a space to sit down. Might be worth doing at crowded times. I like the chicken salad here but be warned it has goats cheese on it which is not obvious. They will make it without but you have to wait and I assume this salad will be the same.

Yeah, photos are not enticing at all... But then again, I don't like the basic park burgers at all. This would be a pass for me but I'm sure people will love it

That's a great point about having the dedicated space to sit down. Especially at more crowded times of the year.

I think this is a nice option especially with the guaranteed seats.

I don't like burgers mixed with other "stuff" (still scarred from the Sci Fi Dine In hamburger hot dog combo) so I'd pass. But I would enjoy a make your own sundae bar all day long!

Yeah I'm not a fan of most the quick service burgers so I've generally avoided this place. I'd be willing to try a salad though. And I do like that they're starting to offer some quick service reservations. I obviously don't want them all to change to that, but it's a nice option to have if that is what you're looking for.

I was talking to a friend at work today who is going in November and she said she had made a reservation for this. I forgot all about it. I just tried to make one for December. Reservations are only available until November 10.
