The New Epcot Entertainment ...

Well I've been busy searching for answers to Off Kilters final farewell at Epcot..Nothing..Not even on their web site ( which seems to be shut down ) So onward we go. I did read something quite amusing on another site..One persons take on this was.." Ain't it funny that some people complain when Disney doesn't freshen things up, and when they do, they still complain." Mmm...Interesting point of view..Anyway here's my view, for what it's worth..The flag waving thing at Italy..No comment..The so called amusing " Lumber Jack " show at Canada...This has got to be something really original and funny to try and follow the last act...But wait..What is that music from yonder UK pavilion I hear.! eek ...A Celtic ensemble...Let me explain..We have two local bands in our area that play this genre of music.." Runt of the Litter " ( a 7 piece outfit ) and a 4 piece band called " Life of Reilly " ..Both of these bands play a mixture of Scottish/ Irish Celtic folk/rock, for a better word of it..Also both have a big following and I must admit, if Disney get it right, and I'am sure they will, this could go down a storm..So I'am waiting with baited breath, to hear and see this new act in October..Ok..That's my rant/view over... wink

My sister's a professional singer, and one of her several gigs is with a Celtic band much like the ones you describe, so I've heard quite a bit of it and am looking forward to seeing the new band at Epcot. I hope this new band is awesome enough to take a bit of the sting away for those who are so upset about losing Off Kilter.

Agree..A tough act to follow..But I don't look at it this way..This new act is in the UK pavilion, so here's hoping people don't try and judge it with their favourite Canadian boys..Like I said..If they are a truly professional outfit ( and I'am sure they will be ) They will get the crowd stompin and rompin.. awesome

I'm not sure what anyone else is expecting Disney to do in Italy, but this is what comes to my head when I think of Italian Flag Corps. As with most things Disney they will probably work in some humor. I've always wanted to see the flag festival in Tuscany, so I'm kind of excited about it.

I haven't been following these new developments very closely. Is the Italian flag corps the replacement for the Ziti Sisters? We haven't heard anything about Sergio the Juggler leaving right?

I think honestly all we can do at this point is wait and see so I am holding off judgments until I see actual video of what the shows are exactly.

I agree..To be honest,I can't see Off Kilter getting a reprieve, but I raise my hat to all who are trying their best to make Disney change their mind...
