Nope of the FW bus question. Thanks, guys, for kicking this topic after 8 months of dormancy.

Regarding the lost kid... The whole family was in the lazy river at Blizzard Beach. After a couple of laps we got out, but my oldest DD (around 8 at the time) kept on going. When she realized we had gotten out, she got out at the next opportunity and started looking for our lounge chairs. We realized pretty quick she wasn't with us and I figured she was still in the lazy river, so I jumped back in without a tube and started running to catch up with her. Meanwhile, my wife told a life guard we were missing a kid. The life guard got on his walkie talkie and put out a description. All the life guards and CM's immediately started scanning the crowd (and the water) and the CM's at the exits went on alert. Anyway, she found her way to our stuff at the lounge chairs and was sitting there when her mother and a life guard returned to start searching the area around our stuff. They had a joyful reunion (total time MIA was < 7 minutes). Meanwhile I was still on my high speed lap of the lazy river. It's quite a work out running in chest deep water. About 3/4 if the way around a life guard figured I was searching for someone and asked me if I was looking for DD by name and told me that she had been found.

This DD is now 24 and I have technically never lost another kid at WDW. FW security has brought my youngest DS back to the cabin on two different occasions. But technically he wasn't lost.

OK, have you ever park hopped and hit all the e-ticket rides in single day?

No, we don't usually hop.

Have you ever gone to a Disney Park but then just spent the day eating and shopping (no rides or shows)?

no but sounds like SO MUCH FUN!

Have you ever left your kids with grandparents (or anyone else) for the day (not just for a dinner at night) so you could have adult time and be a kid yourself?

Have you ever... gotten sick from a ride?

yes..I had eaten some sample chilli from the wine and food fest about two hours before we went on the rockin roller coaster. OMG between the food sitting in my tummy like a bowling ball and Steven Tyler screaming in my ears and all the motion I was seriously close to loosing it all onto my unsuspecting husband. I spent the entire ride debating whether I was going to throw up or die and if I did throw up my husband would probably kill me anyways so I chose death over puking. Needless to say I made it through the ride but was quite stunned, shaken up and a slight shade of green after.

Have you ever had a time when your room wasn't ready at check in time?

Have you ever gone to HS rope drop and raced to Toy Story Mania to find over an hour wait and the next available fast pass time at 3:00?

(we did, frustrating!)

or, how bout just any rope drop? (not you Jeff, we know you are the rope drop KING!)

Not exactly . . . But had a similar sort of experience with Thunder Mountain once. Thought FP would be a cinch, but Oh No. Well, we weren't quite there for rope drop (it was like 9:30) and we didn't really race back to Frontierland, but the FPs were still for 3:00. Go figure.

Have you ever been so excited to be at WDW that you set your alarm wrong and got up WAY TOO EARLY?

My reputation precedes me! laugh clapping laugh I LOVE ROPE DROP!

We've never had that problem, Ollie...but believe it or not back in 2009 we actually missed our alarm and were late for a reservation at Boma for breakfast! Unusual for us because Joe and I are both early risers regardless, and usually bet the alarm when we set it at Disney. But I guess we were just so exhausted from towards the end of the trip that we overslept!

We woke and realized our breakfast ressie was in 5 minutes - ha! We called and apologized profusely and told them we would be over in about 15-20 minutes. They were very understanding and accommodating and seated us pretty quickly once we got there.

Have you ever dropped an ice cream cone or licked the scoop only to watch it fall to the ground? And did ya pick it up?? Haha.

Have you even gone swimming at Disney in the middle of the night when the pools are "closed"?

Yep. Last trip. Had some quick service meals left so went to Mara and we ordered "one of everything" on our last night at AKL. Well, not quite everything . . . And shared with a curious young boy at the next table. We laughed. His mom was horrified. We had a good time sampling the things we usually never get to try. Oh- and had leftovers for breakfast the next AM!

Have you ever had a character be or do something "out of character" when you stepped up for a pic or when they stopped by your table?

Yes actually, at one of the parades in Hollywood Studios they had a bunch of villains walk by. The person on the mic said something about the villains so everyone started booing. Well i joined in and when the evil queen from Sleeping Beauty walked by me she said, "You know its just a job. Its rude to boo at us!" I was so blown away that she said that! Like there weren't hundreds of other people booing at them too? haha It was a really shocker to me!

Have you ever lost something important at one of the parks?

Ok ok. Here is the story. Last year after we had checked in to the Sci-Fi drive in for dinner I came over to where my family was and my daughter had on some pink Disney princess sunglasses. I asked my husband where she got them and he said are those hers she has had them for awhile. I was like no she had blue one with sparkles on them. So I asked her where she got them and she said she found them on some bleachers. So I can only assume some little girl took them off while we were watching Lights Motor and Action and my daughter snagged them and had been wearing them the rest of the evening. Of course all I could think about was some poor little girl somewhere crying her eyes out because she lost her sunglasses, but my Rachel my daughter was beaming with excitement with her new found treasure!

Yes. Started at AK for an early safari. Wanted to have lunch in MK, but line was crazy Just to do security so Got on monorail to Epcot, wandered around had lunch in Norway. Wandered out and and went to HS. Crowd was thick and line at TofT too long. Sat in shade and had ice cream. Decided to head back to MK. Was quieter then, and Ta Da! Four parks. We were young.

Have you ever seen anyone do something so unexpected and off beat that you were flabbergasted and had to stare until yanked away by your travel partner?

Yup, this family had their little boy standing next to a flower bed peeing...I was stunned! And the ridiculous thing was they were a whopping 20 ft from a bathroom with no line!!

Have you ever fallen asleep in an attraction?

Yes, when I went in high school for a lacrosse tournament at Wide World of Sports after a day of games I fell asleep in the Hall of Presidents. Most of the team took pictures. Thank god I don't snore or some people might have been mad... It was just the perfect combo of History, AC, and darkness to knock me right out Tongue

Have you Ever gotten into an argument with someone at the parks?

No I haven't fallen asleep, however last year my husband fell asleep during Hall of Presidents. The kids and I were poking him and taking pictures. After the show I asked him how he liked it and he said Oh it was good. I was like liar I have the pictures of you sleeping on the camera.

Have you ever went with a lie about where you are from to another guest?

I'll take Sammy's and forward MicRac's!

I have never gotten into an argument or even witnessed one in the parks. I try to put my Zen Mickey ears on whenever I head to Disney. It will be crowded, people will be rude. Take deep breaths. Enjoy the magic. mickey

And now, MicRac's question:

Have you ever went with a lie about where you are from to another guest?
