Nighttime show at AK "Rivers of Light"

Today Disney world officially announced that they are adding at nighttime show to AK called "Rivers of Light."

This is the description given on Disney park blogs:
"Rivers of Light" promises to be an innovative show unlike anything ever seen in Disney Parks, combining live music, floating lanterns, water screens and swirling animal imagery. The show will magically come to life on the broad, natural stage of the Discovery River, between Discovery Island and Expedition Everest, delighting our guests and truly capping off a full day of adventures at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

I just saw that myself. Sounds very interesting, and sounds as if AK will soon be open later into the evening, which is a definite plus in my opinion.

lmao last year the Disney Hipsters said this was probably coming, and even got the name right. Hilarious.

But I am SOOOOO excited for this. I know there's no way it will be running by September, but I want a timeline so I know if I should plan a 2015 trip or just wait for the February 2016 trip I'm already thinking about.

Same here. I think we may wait and take a big trip once all the new attractions are up and running?

Did they give a timeline to Avatar yet?

I think Avatar is sometime in 2016 - it's still too far away to have a good handle on that date yet.
