Refurb Closure Change

This made my day today so I had to share. Wink Astro Orbiter and TTA were both supposed to be closed during our trip. Today I went and looked (prompted by a podcast talking about it) and found that they changed the closure dates. We arrive on 5/27 and both closures were delayed until 6/2! yay DH and the kids have never been on AO and TTA is my favorite MK attraction so I'm thrilled. biggrin

Yay!! I'm excited for this too as we've never ridden TTA either and we're looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing!

I'm very excited as well! We'll have DH's aunt with us on our May trip and she will probably enjoy the people mover more than any other ride, so I'm glad it's now going to be open for our trip!!

I just hope it doesn't get delayed further as I'm scared TTA will end up being closed during my trip in early September and I will be DEVASTATED if that happens. TTA is the best.

I hate burst bubbles, I'm disappointed that the refurb got pushed back because it breaks down like every 10 minutes. It has been evacuated a couple of times as well. I can almost recite the "please stay seated" announcement because of how much I hear it every day.

Its the TTA that breaks down like 40 times a day. Astro Orbiter works just fine.

I've heard that that's been a problem, several of my friends have been evacuated in the past couple of months. DO you know what it is that keeps breaking?

No idea. Most of the time when it breaks down, it's only for a couple of minutes then they are back into business.

When we were there a month ago, I had a delay getting on TTA. A CM held the line for several minutes before finally letting us up the moving ramp.

TTA stopped when I was on the ramp when I was there in February. It was only a couple of minutes.

I have TLA (three letter acronym) confusion.

Is "TTA" what used to be known as the Wedway People Mover (WPM)?
