The UK WDW site is offering free counter service dining if you book before 5th Feb Smile

A few years ago I used to book or at least compare hotel prices on the USA site with the UK site, depending on exchange rates and promotions would depend on which one would work out as the best deal. But for about the last 3 years every time I accessed the US site it would automatically flip me to the UK site on the next screen which seems to be the problem you experienced?

You could try ringing central reservations, they may let you book a US deal if you pay on a credit card in dollars?

Not fair! Canadians are supposed to be directed to a Canadian site, but hello, Disney, it's not working! So if you try and access the main page, you get a blinking connect symbol, and a blank page. But, if you google "Walt Disney World Dining reservations", or parks, or something else, you get onto the U.S. site. Then you can navigate wherever you want on the site.

Do you think that might work for you?

There used to be a way of getting to the US site by going to the bottom of the page and changing the language to English USA instead of English UK. The UK forums are working on a way round it, it seems if you go to change the language to USA Spanish and then try to book it reverts back to English once you go to the next page, and that seems to work. It's a bit of a fiddle but if it works then it's worth it!

I hope that fiddle works! Planning over a year in advance just to get free dining on the UK site does sound a tad excessive, especially because flights are really expensive that far out (at least within the US; I'm not sure about from the UK).

We can't get flights that far out, they are released about 11 months in advance, it's usually cheaper to buy further in advance the short term unless they have certain sales, and even then it's not guaranteed that it will be cheaper. It's a right pain! That's for scheduled flights though, charter I'm not so sure on, I know they sometimes have late deals on them which is what we are hoping for in may Smile
