Nothing going on?

If this question has been ask before...I apologize...but...

Is there any time during the year when there are no special events (Flower show, F&W, Halloween, Christms, etc)? Is that a good time to go? Are the crowds different than during special events?

Just trying to work out our next trip. I so hate cowds...

One of the slowest times we've ever been was just after thanksgiving. Wasn't close enough to Christmas for the rush, yet Christmas decorations were up, but crowds were down!

I used to love the week after Thanksgiving.

May through early September has high crowd levels. Mid September through first week or two of December also has low crowds. Just after New Years through Late February/Early March is also low crowds.

March and April is spring break season. May through Early September is when most schools are out for the summer. December is when schools are out for breaks and it's Christmas season as well.

During January, February and March there is nothing going on. Except in March there are some St. Patty day celebrations at Downtown Disney.

Also MLK is in January and that's a very busy weekend.

I meant big things like flower and garden that take up a couple months.

Yeah, but if you're going for say a week, 4 busy days out of that week could make a big difference to someone. I wouldn't want to be there over the MLK holiday weekend. We were once and it was packed!

That happened to us once, couldn't figure out why in the blazes it was so busy. Finaly it dawned on us, BUT fortunately we were there for TWO weeks so it did not impact us that much

Yes, MLK weekend is very busy. The other thing to keep in mind for January is the tour groups from South America and then there is a dance competition beginning of February and I believe then cheerleader competitions into February. I still like the end of January as crowds are really low and it's nice to leave winter in southern Ontario and enjoy the sun! Being just there after Labour Day, I feel that is really a time when there is absolutely nothing going on.

Knew if we let this float around a bit, we'd get some good feedback. Think we'll work towards late September. We'll work in our anniversay (9/20).

Thanks, y'all!

The week after Labor Day. All the kiddos are back in school, so you practically have the parks to yourself!!
