Ohana or Whispering Canyon for dinner??? Curious as to see what you guys think. I cancelled my reservation at 1900 Park Faire because I wanted to do something different. I think one character meal is enough. I've never been to either of these ones.

Well..there are a couple things to consider? Are you trying to do this for your trip in a few weeks? Ohana is very popular and can book far in advance. You might have luck if you call and make an ADR..you could also get lucky going right at opening or right at closing time.
All that being said..if you have the opportunity do Ohana! The food is wonderful and the view is great. Whispering Canyon is a ton of fun and the food is delicious but in my book Ohana is just much better..yum!

Yeah it's for the most recent trip in 3 weeks. I guess I can try and see what is available online and go from there. I know my friend really wanted to see the Polynesian but even if we don't eat there, I can still take her to check it out.

What??? Well then that just zipped into first place in my pick
That's a new discovery here! I predict that Canyon will be much, much busier with this crowd going forward!

I've done both several times and yes, Whispering Canyon is more "fun" and yes, they have free refills on shakes (I never mentioned it because I never order one--I couldnt drink more than one anyway)..
BUT...
I think 'Ohana's food is MUCH better. Plus, it's all you can eat. and one price. and did I mention it's meat? all you can eat meat?
Ohhh
also.. back to the shakes.. my goddaughter got the shake and they gave her refill in a to-go cup to take with her when we left.
annnnd it sat in the freezer at the room for the rest of the trip lol

I forgot to add that about the milkshakes earlier! Did you book WCC??
Not yet. Still trying to decide but it's looking like I will end up choosing that one. Unless I look around and spot something else I might like to try. I'm not much of a meat person so if that's what Ohana is all about I might not eat very much. I am so famous for being indecisive when picking places to eat
I'd choose 'Ohana, but Whispering Canyon has some great food and a fun atmosphere. Plus, I love Wilderness Lodge, so the chance to go over there is worth it

I'm not a meat girl either..I don't really eat red meat and I am weird about other meats..but trust me the other items are enough to make you want to slap someone! They are soooooo good!
I've done both and both are alot of fun Whispering Canyon has a better fun atmosphere though. And if I remember right food is served family style there? We liked that.
Ohana is also great because the food just never stops.
Wishin' I was at WDW!
