OMG..Smokehouse Ribs From House Of Blues..

Tis old uncle Fergus again..Just read a review of the smokehouse which has just opened...Love the look of those ribs..Hmm..I had them on my second visit to the main restaurant and the meat just fell off the bone..Thankfully my server gave me face wipes as I resembled the joker from Batman..My lips were smokin'..Here's a photo...Question to ya all..Are these the best ribs at WDW.?..Can Flame Tree in AK match these babies.?

I'll have to wait until I can try them in order to weigh in on that one. It looks delish though!

I can only speak from experience at Flame Tree BBQ. I thoroughly enjoyed the ribs. The spices from the dry rub added so much flavor to the ribs. No extra sauce was necessary for those.

Here's a look at the Flame Tree BBQ ribs, if interested:

Both items claim to be St Louis style ribs so they are heavily sauced and the ends are trimmed before cooking. But by my observations, the smokehouse ribs add a extra layer of sauce on top of the ribs before serving compared to Flame Tree's. Price wise, the Smokehouse ribs cost a little bit more at 12.99, compared to 11.69 at Flame Tree and Flame Tree's ribs come with beans and cole slaw. So I'm definitely interested in going there on my next trip to try them though their brisket sandwich is calling me! Big smile

I think the ones from Flame Tree look a little better, only because I don't care for my ribs being absolutely slathered in sauce. And DFB said the sauce from Smokehouse was very much tomato based which I don't care for at all (vinegar based >>>).

I'd also be far more likely to eat at Flame Tree as if I'm in Downtown Disney odds are I'm going to eat at Earl of Sandwich, no matter how many times I've already been to Downtown on that trip. laugh
