Only in Walt Disney World.....

I posted this picture on Facebook this morning with the caption "Only in Walt Disney World do you look forward to seeing a rat while dining". I thought it would be a fun game here to see what everyone comes up with. I apologize if this had been previously posted. I tried to find it but came up empty.

ok, who's next? Only in Walt Disney World....

That picture of Remy is in France, right? I've heard about him there.

Only in Walt Disney World can you see a talking trash can!

Lol wow. I wasn't thinking. I never knew that Remy was at WDW..that's cool. They have a life-size Remy at DLP that you can meet and greet as well as the one at the restaurant.

That's ok. It didn't occur to me that you weren't talking about Epcot.

He only makes his appearance a couple of times a day during the afternoon.

Only in WDW can you never see trash removal, but never see trash piling up.

As a chef I was creeped out by a rat in the kitchen so I did not like that movie. Mice and rats scare me anyways. So when we were there at Chefs de France, I did not want to see him even though I had been told he does not come out often. With some dumb luck he came out into our part of the dining room while I was in the restroom. I never saw the furry little monster, rat, whatever. laugh Can you tell I have issues with this rat.

rolling rolling

I feel for you Angel, but rolling

I can just picture them rolling that cart around next to you, flipping that lid open and the rat being on that tray and then seeing you whip out a rolling pin and screaming , " Oh no you don't!" WACK! rolling rolling

I am so with you about the rats (and mice for that matter). Not sure I'd want to have an experience with any rat while eating, even if it is a character. I made it through the movie, and it's a nice story, but of all things, a RAT?? not my favorite.

Well how differnt are rats and mice? Because there is a big old mouse at many places throughout Disney and he often joins people why they are dining, just saying.

I just hate rats and mice, even Disney rats. Disney does seem to have a big mouse around, and I heard that "It all started with a Mouse",
Now, don't try to figure this out, but Mickey is my favorite character!? Some things I just can't explain! Mickey is a little less real than Remy I guess?

But I gotta say, I LOVE Rizzo in the Muppets. "Light the wick, not the rat..."

(He still cannot get over this)

Only in Disney do you see an entire town pillaged and burned by pirates sining a merry tune about what bad guys they are.

WOW! That just gave me a flashback to my first trip to Florida as a Kid --and the reason why folks are NOT excited to see seagulls!!! - Yes we went to Disney World. But my folks and I also spent a day at Busch Gardens. I think I was about 7 yrs. old.

I had just finished sharing a funnel cake with my mom and dad. I stood up from the bench on which we were sitting, brushing the crumbs off of my lap. And in that moment, a flock of seagulls attacked (not me---they were after the crumbs---but I didn't know that ---and I screamed! My parents figured out that the birds were after crumbs and calmed me down)

(Now, there are signs all over the park saying don't feed the birds/wildlife... and I wasn't (and again, I was 7)... but certainly a lesson in obeying those signs)... not to mention a traumatic experience with seagulls! waiting
