Boy, if it were me, I'd get the meatloaf...not a big steak fan. There are a couple healthy options there, but who wants to go the health route on a Disney trip?

The Kahlua Chocolate Cake sounds incredible!

I wish I were there right now...just 3 1/2 weeks!

The rib-eye and the hazelnut chocolate cake! This will teach me to wait to give a response... laugh

And if you haven't hit it yet, Starring Rolls Cafe over at HS for either the butterfinger cupckae or the red velvet cheesecake cupcake - will not disappoint!!!

of course, another great suggestion, since you are at the boardwalk, is walk on over to Epcot and take in a sampling from the Karamelle Kutche place at the Germany pavillion.

I vote for the rib eye (mainly because those mashed potatoes sound amazing!!!!) and the hazlenut chocolate cake! YUMMY!!!!!

dont have any after dinner ideas since I have no clue what all there is to do... but I'm sure you guys will make the most of it! I would hit up some parks for rides and other things you dont get to do and see with the kiddos.

Ok, now I'm on the right night and I won't talk about meatloaf again! I very strongly agree with the Ribeye and I think that turtle cheesecake would really hit the spot.

I don't know when your dinner is, but how about strolling over to the back entrance of Epcot World Showcase and taking in Holiday Illuminations. After Illum, everybody leaves and the two of you stick around and stroll around the lagoon almost all alone. My husband and I love staying for a little bit after close...very romantic!

Oh... And this is why you may want to change on desserts. I'm not sure these are on the menu I provided but there are three chef specials.

Hazelnut Gianduja Chocolate Cake
House-made Gelato
Turtle Cheesecake

I'm not sure if these were on the menu

It is. And everything is ordered. Even dessert. So I guess you guys will find out later what all I chose! Thanks for the ideas! And we're still trying to figure out what to do tonight. Might either do it tonight or Friday. Don't know yet. We're very indecisive at this point. Lol

Ok... sorry for it being late. We literally got back like 25 minutes ago, and I'm actually doing this before uploading my photo's to Facebook. So feel good that I'm doing this first! LOL! Ill just be posting tomorrows dinner later.

So... this was a tough choice, but I also kinda knew what I wanted going into this and was hoping someone would pick it to make my life easier. But what ended up happening is the choices that I wasn't thinking about were making me second guess my choice! So.... without any more delay because I just now got caught up in which pins I still need to get........

Ribeye! The Greens were AMAZING! The Mash Potatoes were AMAZING! And the Ribeye? Wow.... it was just.... AMAZING! So Jeff! Thank you!

As for dessert?

Hazelnut Gianduja Chocolate Cake!!!! This thing was to die for. Probably my favorite dessert out of the whole trip so far. If you like chocolate cake in any way shape or form. Pick this sucker up when your here at Disney. It will not disappoint. Seriously... hop on the boat from either Epcot or HS and get one!!!!! So Jeff.... your the first person to help me choose a complete dinner!

Jeff! Two Thumbs up man! I sooooooooooo enjoyed this dinner tonight. I know a couple people posted afterwards the same thing... but just wanted to let you know the first person to post gets the pins, but thank you all so much. You guys made it SUPER tough tonight, and I had been wanting the Ribeye since we chose this place... and in this post.... you guys just about swayed it... lol

I will post tomorrows ADR as soon as I finish uploading pics on Facebook. So if you wanna see pics that I take on Facebook... just PM me and ill send you to my Facebook.

Night #4 - Ohana - Polynesian

Reservations: 6:45pm

This one I think will be the most difficult to choose because its all you can eat. So I think what ill do is ill take suggestions on what ill have first? How does that sound? If there is a different way then I'm all for it. But since were on the dining plan... I'm not sure if the apps are included? Ill list them here, but like I said... not for sure. So for this one... ill take suggestions on what to try first.

Appetizers/Accompaniments
Pineapple-Coconut Bread
Mixed Greens with Mango-Poppy Seed Dressing
Honey Coriander Chicken Wings
Pork fried dumplings
Sweet Golden Pineapple

Skewers
Prepared over an oak fire

Oak Grilled Chicken
Asian Barbecued Pork Loin
Marinated Sirloin Steak
Spicy Grilled Peel - n - Eat Shrimp

Accompaniments
Egg Noodles tossed in a peanut sauce with pineapple
Stir fried vegetables

Dipping Sauces
House Made Peanut Sauce
Chimichurri Sauce
Pineapple Sweet and Sour Sauce

Dessert
'Ohana bread pudding served a la mode with Bananas and Caramel Sauce

-----------------------------------------------

Hmmmm... wonder what ill have for dessert? Not chocolate thats for sure! LOL

So yeah... not to sure on how to do this one. I know what ill be doing for you guys for Boma... but no idea on this one. So for now... we will go with what ill try first. And now that I'm thinking about it... since dessert is a done deal... and I like to have two options for people to win... ill go with first choice to eat, and then ill go with favorite. Yeah... that will work! That way suggestions will mean that much more. So I guess we shall see who reads all the way through this post!

biggrin

You guys crack me up...

So... here it is!

Went with the steak! That 5 cheese pasta was AMAZING!!!!!

And that steak was FANTASTIC! Didn't even need a steak knife to cut into it... just a regular knife did the trick. Wish it was a bit more rare, but when I do order rare, I always say "As rare as your allowed to cook it." LOL

Thank you Scrappy! Jeff... you were very close. I almost chose yours just because I haven't taken a suggestion for dinner for you yet... lol

And.... for dessert...?

DRUM ROLL!!!!!!

...........

.....

..

.

Kris wins with the canoli! I think you forgot you gave a dessert as well with the Tuna... lol! The dessert was VERY good. Loved the raspberry sauce or whatever that was.... too lazy to scroll up and see exactly what was on the plate. But man.... that dark red stuff soaked into the chocolate was amazing!

So Kris.... pin ideas? Let me know! Been scavenging the parks for unique pins for people who help me choose my dinner, and this is my way for showing my appreciation and a way that we can share a bit of our Disney Adventure with you guys here on the board.

Will post tomorrow's ADR here in a bit.

Yaaaayyyy! I'm glad my dessert pick made up for my tuna mistake!!! Regarding the pin...surprise me! I love surprises! You guys are too fun!

This will be another hard one Mase. I know you will get all of the menu. They bring it all out at different times though. I believe the salad and bread will come out first. So therefore, unless you just wait for the other stuff to come out you would have to eat the salad first. So I guess I will just select what I think you will like the best. I am going with the pork. Trust me, I will be with you in spirit for this meal. Enjoy, it is such a fun meal.

So yeah... that was a lot different than I expected. But a super good different. I didn't realize how exactly they were going to do it... UNTIL they did it. I think tonight... the winner will be the one I enjoyed the most, and I had everything. I mean... I'm still hurting from having everything! The food was amazing. I was hoping good... but it exceeded my expectations. Seriously...

Before I announce the winner, ill actually talk about the meal because it was the most different table service experience that I've had. The closest this would come to would be Teppan. The past couple nights the running joke has been "How long will it take between eating our last bite and when we get dessert. The night before at Captains Grill... it was close to 40 minutes, and they actually HAD our dessert choices when we ordered our drinks! So thats kinda been the running gag the past couple nights.

So again... tonight was just mass chaos! But in a great way. Its like you get your bread. Then the salad. Then the noodles, wings, pot stickers... then right when your about to dive in to that... "Would you like some steak?" Well of cou... "Would you like some chicken?" Oh YEA.. "Would you like some pork and some shrimp?" PLEASE!!!!!!

It was just so awesome to have it being brought to you. Its a beautiful chaos. Flat out. The only thing I wished was that they would come around more. We got an initial and such... but when I had actually tasted everything and was ready for more specific items... we had to ask our waiter to get it. Which is fine... but I saw another table getting all sorts of new food.

But without further a due!

The shrimp about won me over, and I don't think anyone picked the shrimp? But the thing that held the shrimp back from winning was having to take the skin off. Don't get me wrong... ill work for my food. Love crab legs. BUT... if in the same meal... I can work less and get the exact same satisfaction? Thats what happened here. That steak was amazing. And the sauce for it put it over the top. LOVED it!

So if I remember right... Jeff. You got it!

Ill post the stuff for Boma here in a bit. Got to work on these pins. Tomorrow... there won't really be a winner. Boma... is going to just be interesting lets just say for me... and you guys will get to pull the reigns on our final night in magic!

Actually... it was quite amazing. We got on the monorail to head to MK so that we could hop on the bus the head back and caught the fireworks.
