Can we post pictures on this site and if so how?
subvet
subvet,
You can upload them in a couple of ways. At the bottom of the post page is an "Attachments" section where you can browse for the files and upload them that way, however the forum software limits them to a certain size. Otherwise you can use a image hosting service like ImageShack:
That can be a tad of a hassle if you haven't done it before, so you might try the attachment thing and see if it works for you. If it doesn't, let me know and we'll see if we can get it to work for you.
I think the attachments work fine as long as the file isn't too big. Just browse out and find the picture.
Would love to see your pics Subvetss!
One of my favorite places! Thanks for posting a picture -- I look forward to seeing more.

I never knew why that camper was there! Now I realize that that's where you and your wife leave it when you're not in Florida

Makes me happy to see you guys still having a good time. Hope we are able to do the same, on down the road.

That made me laugh out loud! Great pic!
That shot is great. Hilarious!
Yeah she's really selling it.
Not only inexpensive but in contention for my #1 must-do place to eat in WDW.
Ya want a really good meal cheap? Can't beat this at the 'Beaches & Cream' ice cream shop in the Yacht & Beach Club resort.
Somewhere around $16.00 for 2. Great lunch or dinner.

That looks delicious! I've never had a banana split anywhere in Disney World...MUST TRY!

I think it's like so many other things in WDW I want to try, it's hard to find the time (eating space) for it. I may just need to spend some extra time there.
It is my contention that everyone, at least once in their lifetime,(We do it all the time.) spend a t least a week in WDW just taking every buss ride, every boat ride and every monorail ride to every resort in WDW.
To do this you would have to forgo any trips to the theme parks and it would be easier without kids. That may sound like an unrealistic venture but I feel free to say you would be wonderfully amazed at how much you would love it if you believe in the "Disney Magic'.
Not to mention the incredible savings in money. If your kids or grandkids don't bug you to go to the theme parks they can have a great time too. Our grandkids did from 3 or 4 years old every year and never missed the parks. They are now all in their 20s.
Give it a try.

Nice centering! Did you have a passer-by take that shot?

That's a great suggestion! We should put together a list of free things to do in WDW. You could easily fill a month I bet. Tell Jan I like her shorts in that pic.
Yeah we had a thread about Free Things to Do At WDW. I bet Joe could write a book. I'm glad to have your real name btw Joe, since I never knew whether the proper way to address you was subvet, or subvetss. Joe is much easier!
As long as the administrator and moderator don't object I will continue to post pictures of the different resorts we were at and add some comments that might be of interest to some.

How'd you like All Star Sports, Joe? We considered staying there for a few days on our next trip and can't decide between All Stars.

We love pictures Joe. Don't stop!
Hey! I'm an old submarine sailor. Last time we were at the All Star Sports there was a cheer leaders convention. Since it was winter time they were just about the only ones in the pool. Whats not to like?
Joe
I'm telling Jan!!
Seriously, I'm glad to hear you liked All Start Sports. We've always been interested in staying there, but haven't heard great reviews. I imagine it's just that the people that like it aren't speaking up
We might have an advantage over some of you going to WDW. First we are retired. We can go whenever we like. Unless we are staying more than 5 days we go during the week when the crowds are at the smallest. We never go to the theme parks so we don't see many crowds anyway. Since Jan is in a power chair we always get loaded on the buss first. No waiting in long buss lines. We live just over 2 hrs from WDW so getting there is never a long process. Can make it round trip on 1 tank of fuel in the car. We always go during Fl. Resident rates. For 6 nights in Sept. our room rates are $72.00 including tax. We don't have any young children with us so we are never rushed about anything. We don't plan our days. We just do what we feel like doing at the moment. We know the transportation system inside out. We pretty much know where to get the most reasonable (It's Disney after all so nothing is cheap.) and decent food.
It was always fun going with all the kids and grand kids but in the past few years, since we have been making the trip by ourselves, we have discovered a new magic. We are in the twilight days of our life. We are just as much sweethearts as when we first met 54 years ago. Being in WDW at this time of our life is the happiest of all times.
Remember every thing is relative. This is only the way we feel about Disney.
Nuff said.
Pix is Jan & I at All Star music. All the value, to us, are about the same. Only the themes might be a little different. They are all like a nice Holiday Inn. We prefer the Pop Century Resort.
The pix. is of Jan & I at All Star Music about 5 years ago.

You guys take great pics. We love to go during the week when no one is there, but usually since it's a long trip for us to get to Florida we wind up staying through a weekend. I love showing up on Sundays though. I think that's the "changeover" day and Sunday mornings always seem really dead.
