If you had a friend who was considering getting married in Disney World, what location do you think would be the best and why?
I remember MouseTraveler suggested getting married on the Poly beach as a compromise between cost and quality. It shouldn't cost much of anything but you could have great pictures on the beach with the MK in the background. What ideas do you guys have?
It all depends on budget...but I really like the Disney Wedding Pavilion. I just think it is a really nice location.
Btu if someone was looking to save, I think MouseTraveler has the best spot!
There's a place over by the Boardwalk, but I think I'd prefer the Poly beach personally.
I know someone who got married at the Boardwalk and her pictures were gorgeous.
I'm not sure if this is even possible but I'd love to get married in the gardens in the UK. I don't think I'd want a bunch of random strangers watching me get married but I think it would be nice. Of course this may or may not be because I got engaged in the UK Pavillion.

Can you get married in front of the castle? Go at 6am or something? I know you can do that for photo shoots, but not sure about the actual wedding...

I don't think I could even imagine in my wildest dreams how much that might cost!
It might not be as bad as you'd think. The park is empty. I'm sure it's pricey, but I hear people spend ALOT on weddings.
I actually looked into getting married in front of the castle when we got engaged. It was WAY WAY WAY out of our price point. I could have a very extravagant wedding at home and afford my disney honeymoon for the price of that location. wowsers!

I can totally see that! Plus, it's gotta be hard to get your guests out of bed at, like, 5am for the ceremony!

Did you find out how many guests you can have there? I'm having trouble visualizing a large guest list at the castle.

True. I believe if I told my friends that I not only needed them to travel to Florida and spend their money on park tickets and a hotel room AND they had to be up at 5 am they might have shot me.
