Plans have changed.....

So as most of you know I was planning to take my niece and nephew to WDW in December (since I've never seen it decorated for Xmas before), but low and behold my best friend has a friend whose mother works at WDW and is putting together a group rate for a trip in October. I ran the numbers, and I can save nearly $700 if I go with the group rate in October. I think that's worth the change in month, so the trip has been moved up to October. Can't wait!

clapping yay muchlove

Yep. There's still a part of me that's kind of sad that I won't being seing the world decorated for Christmas, but I'll get there in December someday. I just couldn't pass up the savings. I'm sure the F&W Fest will ease the pain a bit.

And you can put that $700 you saved towards the December trip for 2013.

It's debatable whether October or December is the better time to visit, but I'm quite positive that October + $700 is better than December. Smile

(I happen to prefer October anyway because of F&W)

Wow, that's a great change of plans! I like what JoAnne said!

And more importantly, that puts you at The World 2 months earlier! clapping clapping clapping

I've been in both December & October and I have to say, F&W beats Christmas at Disney any day for me! Also, the parks will be much less crowded, and you'll want that extra money to eat everything you can at F&W! ...I swear I gained 10 pounds in 2 days...

We always go in October. The halloween decorations are really cool to. Did you know Fort wilderness has a haunted carriage ride. Maybe with your savings you could do that. Or even visit Fort Wilderness to see the decorations people put up at their campsites. People go all out for the season.
