Raglan Road Music?

Has anyone eaten at Raglan Road? I suspect I would like the music there, but I've never done it. Anyone have an opinion?

Here's a video of them at a festival. I think it's the same dancer too:

Wow, fantastic! Watched some other RR videos too. All the talk about the place on here kind of went in one ear and out the other. To see it with 'mine own'...man, that's a different story. I have officially added that to the World Showcase-places-I've-never-been-but-need-to-visit list.

It's actually in Downtown Disney, not World Showcase. It would fit right in WS though!

Shows how much I know about the place. Either way, it needs a visit.

We've been a couple of times and always enjoyed the food. The music was good as far as I could tell, but it's not the type of music I would normally listen to so didn't have much to compare to.

I liked the bangers and mash! Also, the desserts are wonderful, but they switch those up a lot. One that's always on the menu is the bread pudding. It's served with a side sauce of cream and a side sauce of butterscotch. Both are just incredible.

Omistars - one of our favorites! NOT lite fare, but sooo good. The Dalkey Sausages are amazing - get ready - they're DEEP FRIED! and served with a tasty dipping sauce. They have a Guiness stew that's delish and very comforting. Fish and chips are good too...and some of the BEST mac and cheese I've ever tasted. We ordered it for our daughter (she wasn't quite as impressed as I was.) It's made with Dubliner Cheddar, which has a really unique flavor.

We've celebrated at least one anniversary and two bdays here. Definitely worth your time. The ambience is wonderful and so is the food.

This place is delicious. I've been three times so far, and have really enjoyed it each time. Sometimes the music can be loud, so it's not a good place for kiddos trying to nap silly

Here's another video of the Irish Dancer -- this time at Raglan Road itself:

Has anyone taken kids to Raglan Road? I'm not sure how that would work.

I have. My daughter was fine. She's an equal opportunity squirmer Smile so it wouldn't matter if it was Raglan Road or Chef Mickey's...also, RR has a LOT of places away from the main area to sit if you're worried about the noise. The last time we were there, we were tucked into an area in the back that look more like someone's cozy little drawing room than a pub.

I agree that I think it would be fine for lunch or early dinner. I wouldn't want kids to be around any folks who'd gone a little heavy on the drink that night sarcastic laugh

I don't think I've ever seen anyone overtly incapacitated by drink anywhere in WDW.

Have you been to the Food and Wine Festival on the weekend evenings, yet Tony? laugh It can get pretty bad...

Also, the conference attendees at Jellyrolls can sometimes get out of hand.

I actually had no idea that they had live music or Irish Dancers. That seems like a great date night place to go!
