Looks pretty interesting! I still have to see The Force Awakens. Can't decide if I want to watch it this week or on the cruise! Decisions decisions.
"I do not like the cone of shame."
"I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more than I can tell."
"It seems to me that we have a lot of story yet to tell."
Looks good. I am so excited for any new Star Wars movies.
It invokes the version of Star Wars we grew up with even more than The Force Awakens did. I'm pretty stoked for this movie...

I'm excited for it- but I must have missed the previous explanations for it..
is this a new series ? what part of the timeline does it fall into?
This is what Joe sent me when I started asking LOL

That's a nice explanation, Jen!
Just to add: Disney's plan is to alternate main trilogy movies with a standalone (or anthology) movie. The standalone movies will not necessarily happen in the past and will not necessarily have anything to do with the main trilogy. Planned (and rumoured) movies will include the Han Solo movie (rumoured to include a brush with Boba Fett), Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda. Each standalone movie will be directed by a different director.
As Disney plan to extend beyond the current trilogy, there will be plans to have more standalone movies.

I was disappointed with Force Awakens - it was good, but not great. Rogue One trailer intrigues me much more.
Yes, yes, yes, oh heck yes!
Hopefully some of you will have seen this by the time I've posted this...I was lucky enough to see it two days before general release at a premiere side-screening. Generally, that means there were too many people wanting to see the premiere, so they hired out a bunch of cinemas around the country to give fans a chance to have an exclusive.
In a word, to me at least, it's awesome. A proper Star Wars movie and makes me wish there was more Gareth Edwards Star Wars coming...

We saw it Christmas day. I think it's the best Star Wars movie since Star Wars (by which I mean what is now known as Episode IV or A New Hope, but which we just called Star Wars back in 1977). Don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet so that's all I will say for now.
I saw Rogue One this afternoon and I loved it!!! I'm with CCP and won't spoil anything for those who have not had a chance to see it yet. Of course I have been a Star Wars fanatic since the summer of 1977.
I still haven't seen it. Maybe on Monday.
I haven't seen it yet either. I really want to but every time I try something else comes up. Hopefully I'll make it before it leave the theater.
I just saw it last weekend. Fantastic. Might be my favorite!
I went to see this last night in IMAX both me and DH are star wars fans and had only heard really good reviews and it lived up to them we loved it. I won't give any spoilers away other than its awesome!
