I want to let you know our hearts our with you during this
sad and tragic time with the loss of three of your Police Officers

Thank you Magic Mirror. The events that transpired are a tragedy. I have a lifelong friend who is an RCMP staff sgt out in Vancouver. Needless to say, I've been thinking of him today.

I hope they apprehend the guy responsible for these murders.

Our heartfelt prayers go out to all the officers and their families involved. Let there not be anymore innocent lives lost in this tragedy.

Not to state the obvious, but this is just flat out horrible. mad yuck We've been experiencing some localized vandalism, arson, and theft in and near our neighborhood over the past several months and I was thinking this morning about how "people" as a whole seem so often to have trended to a place where we are less respectful of each other. How can someone become SO disrespectful of the rights of others that they not only damage their property, but actually enact violence against them personally. There are no words for the kind of depravity that an act like this requires.

Like all of you, my thoughts are with the victims, their families, and all of the citizens of this town.

After 30some years in L.E and having gone through this a few times in NH recently I can only echo a heartfelt and sincere "AMEN". Sad sad

My best friend has family that live just a block from the shootings. She said they are staying in their houses, locked down in fear. Apparently the silence is unnerving - absolutely no one is outside, and no one is allowed in or out. Seeing our streets with armed police, swat, etc. is just surreal. We take our Mounties and police for granted most of the time - this is a reminder how dangerous all law enforcement is in this crazy world.
