If you click this link there is a neat video that shows what the new seven dwarfs mine cart ride will be like....Looks pretty fun
Hey Jess,
Are we still doing member spotlights? I really enjoyed them but didn't see one on Friday.
Just checking,

Basically they are taking how you can move a ferris wheel cabin or whatever its called and incorporated it into a roller coaster.

I'm growing so impatient with this ride now, even though I know it should be open by the next time I go down there (save for any absolute spontaneous trips). I'm just way too excited for it!! From everything I've seen it looks like it could easily fall in my top five favorite MK rides.
I'll miss the old Snow White attraction, but this looks pretty cool.
Love Me, Love My Cat
I caught some cool looks from the people mover last weekend. I think this will be one of the most detailed rides in MK. Will make a great centerpiece bridging the new fantasyland with the old.
I hope so. I'm trying to keep my expectations in check since it's been so long. I don't want to be disappointed. I expect it should definitely be ready to go when we visit next January.

Its supposed to open within the next couple months. So it should be open by next January.
It's amazing how much thought goes into every detail! Can't wait to ride this in September!

Does anyone know what the height restriction is likely to be? I am really hoping it is a ride we can go on as a family, but my youngest is quite small for her age so am worried it will be another babyswitch ride for us when we go in November, unless she has a huge growth spurt in the next 9mths.

If I remember correctly, I read it was going to 38 inches.

Thanks, praying for a growth spurt then, she will be 3 1/2 yrs old but means she has to grow about 5" in the next 9mths, which is not impossible but highly unlikely.

My daughter, who is my youngest, is 3 1/2 and we are going February. She is just under 40" right now with her shoes on (about 39 3/4") I am hoping she grows just a bit to make the 40" that a lot of rides are. I know we will love some rides like Thunder Mountain otherwise I might be miserable staying off rides with her as she cries and the boys all go on rides!

I've heard it may open in May or June of this year.
I was kind of hoping for a soft opening in mid-March of this year.
Ohhh! That looks so fun! Wheeeeeeee ***
The ride is finished and I believe fully functional. It has been for a while now. They are just working on the details.
OMG...The dwarfs have fell off...Looks good...Tho I get motion sickness so I'll watch Elastigirl and Dash go on it..( That's our character names for this year. ) LOL..Of course I had to be Mr Incredible...
