Looks like a blast! I hope it's ready in May! I could have done without the dentist's office background music tho lol

Yah I will be there in May as well so I have my fingers and toes crossed that it will be open. And I agree about the music.

Hmm . . . . I have to wonder if mein sister is going to willingly ride this, or if I'm going to have to "test the waters" for her first. She's not a big roller coaster fan, and after an incident with our dad and Tower of Terror, she is never trusting his judgement again. Either way, I'm looking forward to riding it meinself!

Gee JoAnn you might luck into a soft opening for this ride.

That would be sweet!
The theming look incredible.
Current Disneyland / CA Adventure pass holder. WDW X4 visits!
I read somewhere there is a press thingy on 1st April and it said it should deffo be open by then????????
When my girls were younger and about 1/2 inch to short for the rides I would put their hair in a high pony tail and they would measure up to the bar!!
Only the wall by BOG are down. The rest of the walls are still up but they have been testing the ride almost every day now. I think they have four trains on the track. They are having a summer media preview on April 30 for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride. But they may have soft openings before that.

ooo that would be so sweet! My sister just called and asked if I could come down first week of April. If I can swing it, I'm so there! I don't mind snow to a point, but we are at a record 274 inches so far and winter isn't over. That ride looks right like my cup a tea!
I ordered a new set of customized Disney maps (mostly because my old ones had no mention of New Fantasyland). I was interested to find that the area where Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is located is just an island of trees on the map. I was even more interested to see that on my map, there is clearly an open path from Under the Sea to Storybook Circus behind the site for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Does anyone know if this walkway is in fact open now that the walls are beginning to disappear? In December, this path was still obstructed.

Yes Alicemouse, you can now get right to Storybook Circus from Under the sea. We used this shortcut valentine's day weekend and it was great! Storybook circus is just a few steps past Under the Sea now, instead of walking the whole way back around Fantasyland to get there.

WOOHOO!! I didn't realize that it wasn't open on our last trip until I tried to use to during MVMCP. Much backtracking and wasted time later...

It was so nice to have such a quick way to get to the Storybook circus from the end of Fantasyland now. It also makes it much quicker to get to Tomorrowland too by taking the little walkway through Storybook circus, past the train, straight on to Tomorrowland. It's sometimes quite difficult for me to walk because of RA and the new path made a big difference for me this past trip!
All of Fantasyland is now connected via Under the Sea and some of the walls are starting to disappear around the Mine Train Ride.
SO very awesome. That's going to do wonders for foot traffic!!
I watched a complete ride through with a side-by-side comparison from the concept model today. Very cool. I think it was on Inside the Magic???
