Here are ours...

Wishes -- Frontierland. It's so empty!
Illuminations -- From the bridge between Future World and World Showcase. There are hardly any trees in the way!

Likewise, Frontierland is much less crowded for Wishes.
For Illuminations I have found the small stone benches right along the fence in front of the Japanese Pavilion. They are close enough to the fence that no one can stand in front of you. Except for a bunch from a Brazilian tour group that "TRIED" one year!!

Our Wishes spot is so normal, we just find a spot near Main Street a few minutes before it starts. We just find somewhere that isn't wall to wall people Smile.

The same is usually true of Illuminations, but last trip because of a mistake, we got to go in the VIP area near Mexico and that was AMAZING.

Peg -- you can hear it in Frontierland for sure. At the Poly on the beach, you can hear it over the water, but there's a bit of a time delay.

I'm not wild about any Wishes watching spot that isn't straight on. That's why the Dessert party and/or California Grill don't do much for me.

For Illuminations though I'm all about watching it from a cruise! The views from Rose & Crown look amazing too (I've never done it)

Did you just wait for a long time to get it Tony? Or were you just lucky?

It is a great spot. People are always saying that a spot is never garunteed but we've never had a bad viewing table and the rose and crown. I love it!

We'd booked a table about 5 days earlier at Pop reception, then asked for a terrace table when we arrived at the R&C. They gave us a pager as the table wasn't ready and it went off about 20 minutes later.
