Shout out to your favorite cast member

JeffC's mention of Art the Greeter has me thinking -- are there other cast members who have made your stays at WDW even better? I thought it'd be fun to have a thread where we can let other forum members know to ask for a certain server in the restaurants, look for a certain check in person at the hotels, etc.

Let us know here if there are certain cast members we should look for when we're next in WDW!

One that we'll never forget is one of the cleaners at POP C. She's a Texan, about 4 foot tall with a
VERY LOUD VOICE !

We nearly died of fright every time she said good morning, especially if we hadn't seen her coming.

Bella is he the rather large stocky gentleman that works as a server? If so I agree he is wonderful.

Yup! I think everyone that has ever eaten there has had him..he's been there for years.

He sang Happy Birthday to Dave operatic-style.

Olivias? One of the places I've always wanted to try. Do you all recommend? What do you like about the restaurant?

At Port Orleans Resort in the Sassagoula floatworks & food factory, there is an elderly CM who is in her seventies or eighties, she works full time during the daytime. Her Name is Ethel and she is the MOST wonderful CM we have ever met bar NONE. She goes out of her way to make your time there one you won't forget. We met her about five years ago and her cheerful disposition just radiates to everyone. We go out of our way to go see her even though we are nowhere near Port Orleans Resort. Each time we go to see her or to see if she has retired (heck she is even older than I am ) she remembers the wife and I and greets us with a hug and a peck on the cheek. She has told us that she will never retire as long as she is breathing and we really believe her. She is a real candidate for the WDW cast member Hall of Fame mickey (if they had one ).

I've heard positives and negatives, but mostly positives. Here's a review I saw recently: http://www.diszine.com/content/olivias-a-walt-disney-world-restaurant-review

Olivia's felt very "homey" unlike a lot of places in WDW. It was very relaxed and comfortable. It just felt like I went to eat at my local restaurant I eat at every Friday night.

We loved the onion ring appetizer with all the dipping sauces and the cocktails..oh my! Best. Strawberry. Margarita. Ever.
