I seriously have a hard time at "pet fairs" at PetsMart..I always want to take them all home with me.

My girls are 5 and 11 so not really puppies anymore. My neice and nephew had been in the pool all afternoon before the dogs decided to have a go, hence all the toys.

This is Tessa. She too was a rescue with a silly name. They spelled it Dalia, but called her Delilah. The name they gave her in the shelter in GA she came from was Cricket. 
First picture is when we got her in Dec, when she was 3 months old. The other one was recently, when she got her haircut for the summer (9 months old).

Is that a sequined bandana around her neck, how cute and how did you get lasers implanted alongside her eyeballs also it looks like she must have shed twenty pounds of hair. Very adorable puppy.
Bella -- ForGET the shelter fairs. I avoid them like the plague. There's just no way I can leave there without six brand new animals. 
Kathy -- That is the sweetest little girl! Tessa's a great name, too. It fits her! What a cutie pie.

Tessa loved that sequin bandana! Left it on for a week. The groomer just loves to dress up that little girl! Last time it was pink. She's such a princess! No matter what I try with the flash, daylight, whatever, I can't get a good picture of those eyes! We just call her Demon Puppy 
. Either we get the laser beams, or everything blends in and she looks like a silhouette. Oh well, just gotta keep trying!

It's just the lighting. First of all, she's still young, almost 10 months old. Second, she's black. If you don't believe me, you should see her fur all over my light clothes, and my hardwood floors! Ahhh, the things we put up with for our furry kids!

I agree. Fur as a condiment. That might just work! SpaceAce, we simply embrace the fur! Otherwise I just scoop up the furballs as they roll by like tumbleweeds. I figure if I keep collecting it, I can make a new mattress within a year!

Bruitis is a King Boxer, half boxer and half mastiff. Amazing personality, totally protect but such a marshmallow.
Mastiffs are such sweet dogs. Although they're pretty good for area rugs since they're usually not that much into moving. I bet Boxer + Mastiff is a great combination since boxers are the opposite.
