So happy to be back...

I took my kids to a convention for one of their youth groups this weekend (Illinois Job's Daughters) and must say that it was with awful, or awesome, and I'm not sure which. Either way though it was awe inspiring. There were problems with the hotel, there were problems with the conference, there were hundreds of stressed out over emotional women with mothers and daughters screaming at each other and treating each other with no respect what so ever. There was a pageant, and a prom, and four days of business meetings.

At one point I was in tears (because of the problems with the hotel room, never stay at the Sheraton Four Points in Peoria, IL) and as I cried on my daughter's shoulder I said "just want to go back to Disney where it's fun and people like me."

I LOVE my Disney peeps so much, you all are the best family I could ever choose. I have never been so happy to be home in my life.

I actually did think a lot about the conference that I attended at Disney and how much better it was! LoL... or how much better I could have done on my own for that matter. Since I wrote my original post I discovered that a LOT of people had their hotel rooms robbed of cash, that people staying for more than one night didn't get housekeeping, and that the food in the banquets was absolute rubbish. Bleck! I think we can miss next year.

Am I caught up? Not quite, but I'm getting there!
