Spice Road At Morocco..

Well I read today...EATINGWDW.COM. That the above restaurant at Epcot is opening soon..120 seats outside and 60 inside..Now the outside area might be the most spectacular viewing spot for illuminations..But here's the thing..
Are you a spice fan..?..I love all things nice and spicy...In fact you could say I'am a chilli head..What's your views on this new establishment..?.. yay

Spice might mean, well, spice, as opposed to being a euphemism for hot/chili. Cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, etc. Actually, I don't recall the food at the existing Moroccan restaurants being all that hot/spicy. I look forward to finding out. Either way I'm sure I'll like it.

I want to try this. Hopefully it is better than Marakesh. Sitting indian style on a pillow at a coffee table eating as women belly dance in my face was not pleasurable....lol

I'm excited. It's an opportunity to try new foods.

As long as there is no tangerine in site....

I certainly do not remember that when I went last. We were seated at a regular table. (Otherwise I would never have been able to get back up off the floor laugh .)

Yes! I am a spice fan! I do like hot chilies and things of that nature but I am a huge fan of curry, marsala, cumin, tumeric and all that yummy stuff. Not only do I enjoy tasting, the smell is hypnotizing and the colors are wonderful. Growing up in an authentic Italian household eating out was ususally not an option and cooking anything but Italian food was not common. As I got older and started experiencing the food world my way I began to try everything and anything. Now although I love spices I have made the decision not to eat meat, fish or chicken which makes spices even more important in my kitchen.

We have ressie's in restaurant Marakesh for this coming January. We have never eaten there before, I know it wouldn't be Dh's cup of tea but it was the only place that would take all 15 of us. I am secretly very excited about it.

We've been to Restaurant Marrakesh several times and always were seated at regular tables with regular chairs.

It has been almost 8 years since we've eaten there. I thought we sat on the floor....at least that's what I thought we did. I can't remember what I wore to work yesterday at times....so I could be dreamin' that happened! lol

I was not a fan of the food they offered at the time and the belly dancers were too much for me. Now, if a hookah was being passed around...I might go back to try that. laugh
