Resort Dining Favourites..

You don't do a ton of resort dining because we are park commandos, but we do love the self serve dole whip at Captain Cook's @ Poly. Neither of us like cake, so that cuts out a lot of dessert choices. My dad loves ice cream (ok, I do, too) so the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream is on our April to-do list when we'll be traveling with the folks.

The beignets at POFQ are some of the best I've ever had. Honest to god, they were better than Cafe du Monde at the French Market in New Orleans. Hot, fresh, fluffy and delicious.

Also, the Contemporary Grounds has one of the best chocolate chunk cookies on the planet. I just discovered it in June, but I will make a special stop at the Contemporary from here on out to get one.

I'm not a big fan of the food at AKL's Mara, however if you're a wine drinker they carry a wonderful sweet shiraz in the gift shop called "Jam Jar" and I always grab a bottle to enjoy back in the room or by the pool.

Snow Crab Legs at the Beach Club's "Cape May" are to die for! Whether we stay at the Beach Club or not, we always make a reservation for Cape May just for this YUMMY!!!!!!!

We stayed at POFQ in Sept, I had heard how good the beignets were beforehand, tbh I wasn't impressed, I only had them once and they tasted like the fat was old and dirty. yuck maybe just a bad batch!!

I was really impressed with nearly all the dishes at Sassagoula except the Jambayla which was dry.

Boatwrights at PORS have a really good Jambalaya but I think H.O.B. has the best....
