Hello everyone!!! All the impatient waiting and counting down finally ended this past Tuesday morning (3/26) when I finally got on a plane for Disney World!
Day 1: We arrived around 11:15am, and got right on the magical express to head to AllStar Music. When we got there, we got our keys to the world and jumped right onto a bus to Magic Kingdom. By this time we were starving, so the first thing we did was go to Be Our Guest to use our first quick service meal. One word: AWESOME! The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is delicious, I can't even believe it counts as a quick service! I got the carved turkey sandwich and for dessert the chocolate cupcake. Yummy!
The park was pretty crowded, but we didn't mind it. The wait times weren't horrible, either. And it was COLD!!! So splash mountain was being avoided by most people. We rode Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Pirates, Ariel, Buzz, Space Mountain, saw Monsters Inc, (I feel like I'm forgetting one, but I can't think of it!) Stopped to have a Dole Whip as our snack, too. Mmm!
We ate dinner and watched "Wishes" (My favorite!) and were too exhausted to stay for the extra magic hours, so we headed back to the resort.
Day 2: We got up super early, and by that I mean 5:45am, and ate Mickey waffles for breakfast before catching the bus to Hollywood Studios. The first thing we did was run to Toy Story Midway Mania and grab a fastpass (FYI those things run out FAST so make sure it's the first thing you do when you get to DHS!) Then went straight to Tower of Terror! Literally no one was in line so we rode it twice in a row! Woohoo! We stopped to meet Chip & Dale before going to use our Toy Story FPs.
Toy Story Midway Mania was AWESOME! It was my first time riding it and I'm telling you it's a MUST-DO! After riding that, we met Woody & Buzz!
& acted silly while waiting in line... haha! "THE CLAWWWW!"
After that we ate lunch at Pizza Planet! Then we rode RockNRoller Coaste and got another FP for it that wasn't until 9:20pm, and since it was only about 2pm, we decided to parkhop over to Animal Kingdom until then! (Gotta love improvising the intinerary when necessary!)
Since we knew we would be back to AK on Friday to ride Everest, we spent our time there meeting the characters. I love King Louie and Baloo!!!
Awww... Mickey Kisses! haha!
Then back to DHS to watch "Fantasmic" at 8:15pm and use our RockNRoller Coaster FPs!
Day 3: Epcot!!! The first thing we did was go right to Soarin' for a FP, then from there to Test Track.I thought the new Test Track was awesome! (It was closed the last time I was there). We stopped to meet Mickey, Pluto, and Minnie before going on Soarin.
Soarin' was awesome as usual! After that we walked around to see all of the beautiful set-ups for the Flower & Garden Festival. (I have way too many pictures of these, so I'll just post a few on here. )
Stopped for lunch and a margarita in Mexico, of course!
Magic Kingdom had extra magic hours til 1am again on this night, so after going back to the resort for a quick nap, we went to Downtown Disney for a little bit of shopping from about 7-9pm and from there we went back to Magic Kingdom to ride some of our favorite rides again (with short wait times, which is always a plus!)
Day 4: Our last day!!! We woke up extra early to make sure everything was packed up and brought our luggage to the magical express airline check-in around 7am. They took our luggage and had printed out our boarding passes and everything. I love Disney for making everything hassle-free!!! We didn't have to worry about a thing, so after that we grabbed a quick croissant for breakfast and went straight to Animal Kingdom. We were some of the very first people in line for the park and got a FP for Everest right away. Then we rode Dinosaur twice in a row with 0 wait time since no one was over there. Gotta love no lines! Then we went back and rode Everest and got another FP for it.
Representin' our Saints.. WHO DAT!
While we waited for the next FP time we saw The Festival of The Lion King and had a quick lunch in Dinoland before going to see Finding Nemo The Musical (which was INCREDIBLE!!!)
After that we rode Everest one more time (Yes that makes 3! ) and before heading back to catch the magical express to the airport, we used our last snack to buy a frozen minute maid strawberry lemonade cup. YUM! Those are perfect for hot days, and this was the only day of our trip that was actually hot. Ha!
So we left AK and went back to our resort to wait for the ME bus. So sad to say goodbye to Disney, but the trip was amazing and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to go during Spring Break. Can't wait until I can go again!
