Star Wars Themed Names Removed From Docking Bay 7 Menus UPDATED

Disney has removed the Star Wars-themed language from Docking Bay 7's lunch and dinner menus. Now instead of ordering Endorian Tip-Yip, you just ask for plain old Fried Chicken. No more Kaadu Ribs to be found, just your standard pork. Where is the fun in that?

*sigh* Someone tell me again why we can't have nice things? Was the average guest too confused by the highly themed names to read the description below and indulge in the galactic fun? I may be a little salty about this. Hrmm... I may be A LOT salty about this.

In my opinion the very essence of what makes Disney Parks stand out above all others is that every detail is themed. This pandering to the lowest common denominator leaves me cold. What are your thoughts?

Yeah, I was a little ticked off about this one. It's like going to an Italian restaurant and reading the description... Gimmie a break.

Looks like the menu has settled in to something both immersive and easy to read. We'll see if this menu sticks.

I tried the pork ribs yesterday and they were really good. And filling! The blueberrry cornbread muffin was also really good. I like the current menu format and it's kind of a shame the back and forth they did. Oh well, live and learn!

I tried the Endorian Fried Chicken Tip Yip with Mac & cheese and roasted broccoli this evening. Boy, they knocked it put of the park. The chicken was juicy and delicious, the Mac & cheese was tasty and the roasted veggie was flavorful and not limp and gross like so many veggies.

I think this is my new go to for a great meal.

Bonus: the cinnamon apple pastry tart from Woody's Lunchbox, which was also amazingly good!

So glad to hear that DHS has a new restaurant serving up tasty food. While ribs and fried chicken seem to be a Disney "go to" the ones here certainly have a unique perspective on them that makes it super fun. The fact that it also tastes great makes it even better!

Joe also tried the Ronto Wrap (roasted pork, grilled pork sausage, peppercorn sauce, and a tangy slaw) at Ronto Roasters - he enjoyed it so much he wanted to go back our last night and get it again. And that never happens!

Jon was also a big fan of the Ronto Wrap in Disneyland and got it twice! Looking forward to trying Docking Bay 7 in Disney World in a few more weeks!

I heard lots of comparisons to Satu'li so I was pretty stoked. I tried the Yip Tip or Tip Yip or "chicken" It was like one big chicken nugget. Wish I had tried something else. It also has a little spice to it and the "gravy", it is green enchilada sauce. Such a strange combo with the veggie filled mashed potatoes.

Over all not impressed. I would go back and maybe try something else.
