It runs as smooth as silk, Disney will take care of moving your luggage to your new room and you just have to get yourself to your new resort room. Actually to your new resort check in desk. Smile

The only thing that I've heard that's not fantastic about this is that it can be awhile before your luggage arrives at resort #2. But if you're sure to pack a day bag with whatever you may need it should be easy as pie!

It's as easy as Vettelover says!

If you don't want to wait for your luggage, you can always splurge and spend $20 on a cab and have it all done right away.
