Has anyone done the Pirates & Pals Fireworks cruise? I've read that it's a lot of fun for families, but how is it for Pirate loving adults without kids? Any opinions?

It's a boat full of screaming little kids! We saw one go by us on our last Wishes Cruise we did in January, oh my God! Not a chance in Disney would I go on one of those. I had my fill of being on band buses with 60 screaming kids. For a family with kids thought, I could see it being pretty fun probably.

*crosses Pirates and Pals off his "Hey that might be fun!" list*

Oh lord! Okay, maybe not.
If I want screaming kids all I have to do is visit my niece and her 4 boys. They are wonderful and I do love them but they are boys!
Note to self do not let the 10 year old girl know about this EVER. I simply do not know this exists.

We saw the pirates and pals cruise disembark at the contemporary boat dock. Actually it seemed kind of fun. There is a pirate host telling jokes and everyone seemed to be having a great time. A special character was waiting their arrival on the dock and everyone was surprised when they saw him. I know that the host can get the boat pretty excited so maybe the screaming kids was because they were told to act like pirates. I understand that it is a family experience. My husband and I were thinking of doing it next year for the fun of it. It is one of the cheaper Disney experiences you can do.

You try it first and let me know if this is why the kids were screaming, and then I'll decide .

Oh yeah nikamel, I think the kids were having a ball! I just don't want to be on a boat wit that many screaming kids. They sounded like they were having a great time when the boat went by us.
I guess I am just use to it. I work with screaming kids all day. I have become very good at shutting out the noise
