So I have several distinct groups of friends that are doing the family thing at WDW for Thanksgiving this year. I had never even really considered it a possibility because I heard the crowds were so bad. Am I being overly concerned? It's the busiest week of the year, right?
In another thread I mentioned that I was there that week in 2003 and it wasn't that crowded at all...so I don't know what to think!
I think that weekend can get a bit packed, but on either side of the holiday you should encounter moderate crowds as far as I know...
I guess I'd feel that you certainly don't have any right to be surprised if you get there and it's packed. 
I wonder how the economy is affecting things. I get the feeling that it's made things hard to predict at stores and resorts alike.
