So as you know, we will be going on our first Disney cruise in just 30 days. I am worried as I feel just, well... to be honest... ok with it...
When I booked our November Disney trip 9 months out, I was locked, loaded and set on go the entire time. I could not contain my excitement.
This is totally different. I don't think about it daily. Maybe it's the fact that there isn't much (nothing) for me to plan. I've never been on one of their ships so I don't know where to go. Without the Navigators I don't know what is available to me day to day. There are no fast passes to plan, ADRs to make, none of the things that keep me busy and plan plan planning like WDW does. I've made more plans for our couple days in Cocoa Beach before boarding than anything else...
If you have been on one of their cruises, did you feel this way? I honestly thought I would have that same WDW feeling going into it...
Do you get the overwhelming "I'm at Disney" feeling on the boat???
"I do not like the cone of shame."
"I want adventure in the great wide somewhere. I want it more than I can tell."
"It seems to me that we have a lot of story yet to tell."

! We watch Disney cruise tapes, youtube videos, & photos; to know our ship inside out (and to take advantage of everything it offered).
as you get closer to the day
.
A cruise on the other hand....you can do as much as you want or as little as you want. Sitting on the deck with a cup of Java or a cocktail, watching the water go by is very relaxing and even a little mesmerizing. First run Disney movies are available and the Broadway style shows in the evening are excellent! Don't forget some adult entertainment! Be sure and go into Pink, the champagne bar on the Dream and find the little elephant that flits from bubble to bubble on the wall! Blondie will enjoy the kid's programs while you check out Pink. Have you made reservations for any port adventures? You will absolutely love Castaway Cay! Looking forward to hearing your cruise report!
