Tomorrowland Terrace Desert Party..

I know we've talked about this recently but I'm still undecided..what are your thoughts on the Desert party?

I have seen pictures and read TR's and the food just looks amazing..but $27..for desert..for an average view of the fireworks..I just can't decide if it's worth it to me. You could get a nice meal at Trail's End for close to that price.

In other news, if you do like the desert party it has been extended through December 29th according to the Disney Parks Blog.

How many extensions does that make?

I haven't done it, but I have to say I'd probably do it once. My expectations would be low, but hey it looks like something I need to try once.

honestly, I wouldnt do it again. I only actually ENJOYED 1 dessert! I ate some more but I can honestly say there was only 1 that i really enjoyed. My DH who is the least fussy eater i have known (unlike me) didnt really enjoy it either.

I remember Disney Food Blog posting about this back in July (http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2010/07/17/wishes-dessert-party-extended-through-december-2010/). I wonder why they're bringing it up on the Disney Parks Blog -- must be they're not selling out like they'd like to.

I am wondering too..I have to admit I thought it was long gone!

I do remember when it first started (when--last year I think?) it sold out so quickly!

The DF and I LOVED it! We booked super early and got the very first table, closest to the rail. It was noce not to be packed into a crowd for an hour waiting to watch. The desserts were pretty good and the location gave you an unobstructed picture view for the castle! Wes tood abouy 10 minutes before they started and it was fantastic. We definitely want to go again.

Thanks for the reviews. I wonder how long it will continue.

I just saw this:
http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2010/11/27/tomorrowland-terrace-parties-new-years-eve-details/

on the Disney Food Blog..looks like there will be a special event on New Years Eve including dinner, desert & fireworks. It's a hefty price tag but it is something I would want to experience!
