TTA reopening Sept 1 or Sept 12 - plus a sneak peek at some of the changes

Disney had announced that TTAwould reopen on Sept. 1, but I hear now that they may announce as soon as today that that scheduled reopening may be pushed back to Sept. 12. Anyone have any clearer info on this?

In any case, check out this video that was taken just last week, which shows how the atmosphere and mood will be greatly changed while experiencing WEDway, or while watching from ground level:

Great video, though I'm not sure I'm loving the new change. Seems a little "way out" like I should be smoking something while I'm on the ride. laugh

I haven't heard anything about the ride opening being extended to Sept 12th (and a quick google search maintained Sept 1st), but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that it's been pushed back again. Sept 1st is right around the corner...

I'm actually very anti-LEDs on the TTA. Of course I loved it just as it was. I definitely don't want it to be more "exciting."
