TTFN_71 & LUVALLDISNEY Pre Trip Report

Greetings to all!!

One week to go untill we leave on our trip to the "world of the mouse"!! Plans are all set and we can't wait to leave north east ohio for a much warmer Florida!!! This is what we have planned.

12-9-12: 7:15 am non stop flight from Akron Canton airport to Orlando with a Magical Express hookup to Wilderness Lodge. Check in @ WL then a quick serve lunch at Roaring Fork. No sit downs planned for the day (saving one for later in the week). Head to Epcot for the afternoon and night time at HS for the Osbourne lights.

12-10-12: Park hop the day and relax because we are at Disney. No major plans except for my favorite dinner at Ohana at 5:15. EMH at MK to see Wishes.

12-11-12: Park hop the day and relax because we are at Disney. Dinner at Boatwright's for 5:20 and 9 pm tickets for La Nouba. Night cap at Raglan Road.

12-12-12: Park hop the day and relax because we are at Disney. My sis, bro-inlaw and niece drive in from Tampa for a 6:20 dinner at Whispering Canyon. My 9 yr old niece will be staying with us for a couple days to experience more Disney magic. We have a list of things we didn't get to experience with her from our trip last year.

12-13-12: 9:15 am breakfast at Tusker House. AK during the day. Maybe a Beaches and Cream stop for the sink thing(winking @ DisneyDee). A fun filled night at MVMCP!!

12-14-12: 10 am breakfast at Cape May. HS day with 5:00 dinnner at Mamma Melrose and Fantansmic. The niece has not seen Fantasmic or the Osbourne lights.

12-15-12: My sis and bro-inlaw return for a fun filled day at epcot. Bier Garden dinner for the 5 of us at 6:00. At the end of the night say goodbye to the sis, bro-inlaw and niece for their return drive home to Tampa.

12-16-12: Normal last day activities of checking luggage, checking out of WL. Relaxing late morning early afternoon at DD. 5:05 flight from Orlando to Akron Canton.

YAY!! You must be so excited!!

Your niece will love both Fantastmic and the Osbourne lights! I think it would be fun to watch her expressions (and jaw drop!) when see sees the lights

Thanx JeffC. I agree with you. I love the Osbourne lights which is a must do first night thing during a xmas holiday trip. I can't wait to see the expression on her face. I will probably have to drag her out kicking and screaming because she will not want to leave. LOL Wait a minute.. to think about it further, I think LuvALLDISNEY will probably have to drag both of us out of there.

Love how you have your days all set especially the relaxing part because you are at Disney. Have a wonderful time especially with your niece.

Thanx PirateGirl and Ollie. I think we are Disney Vets now. We definetely can take our time and smell the Mickey roses. I recently bought a new lens for my cannon t3i. It's a combo lens of 18mm - 270mm. One lens does it all. No changing between two different lens. Add a couple new 32 gb class 10 sd cards and I should be ready to go. I plan on shooting video this trip between the t3i and my htc evo 4g. MrHub and Mase have inspired me to shoot video on this trip. The xmas parade at MVMCP as well as the fireworks that night are on the bucket list. This past april I got great shots of the electrical parade. Video of that would be good too. I guess the next thing to do is get a youtube account.

Sounds like you got a plan there TTFN! Thats what we did, just went with the flow because "We was at WDW" and we stiull didn't get half the things done we said we where going to do. We didn't get to all the resorts to see the X-mas decorations, but we got to some. Go for the video! We'll be waiting.

Sounds like an awesome trip! You will love the Osborne lights, the decorations everywhere, the holiday Mickey magic.

I am finally getting comfortable with not trying to doing it all, but just taking it at a reasonable pace and
"being where my feet are." I don't think Mickey and crew are going anywhere. They will wait for us to come back.

Absolutely disneydoc. Getting ready for our sixth trip I know we can't do it all because we still haven't done it all. Just happy to be there and do what we want to do without drama is huge. A vacation is suppost to be fun and not a bunch of stress. If I wanted a bunch of stress I would go to work instead of vacation. .

I am fairly sure that the previous pic of the Osbourne lights was taken by LUVALLDISNEY and not me. She takes good pics too. She should put up some of her food pics.

Both, I have an 8 gig eye-fi for my Olympus SP-810UZ which is Eye-Fi ready. That works great. I've used it in my Nikon though and it works just as good and thats not Eye-fi ready.

I was wondering which smart phone companies are working or not with wifi or regular signal in wdw. We are Sprint customers. I have the newer htc evo 4g lte and LUVALLDISNEY has a samsung galaxy epic. My old htc phone was hit or miss this past april in WDW. I hope wifi is better not only in the parks but the resorts as well. Any thoughts would be great. Thanx in advance.

The plan sounds great. I am looking forward to your report. NHshorty and I love the WL and actually came close to making a 2 day run down, but my job situation screwed that up (I expected to be between gigs in December, but I've been extended).

Julie's, ZZ's, Mase's and Mrhub's reports actually gave me post-trip-depression, so you guys need to get me out of it.

I'm not really suprised to see the tree raised up off the floor now due to my own safety concerns with kids trying to crawl under it in the past.

Thanx Ollie. Three weeks will go by so fast. Just to think that 3 months ago I was already wishing I was there. Nothing like killing the rest of good summer weather here in Ohio.

Thanx Magic Mirror. I will be on the look out for a TIGGER santa hat for our xmas time with the Mouse. I am sure that LUVALLDISNEY wants a Goofy santa hat. I am betting that JeffC could tell us where to get those.
