We will be arriving in Walt Disney on Black Friday.
Does anyone know if Downtown Disney will have
any type of Black Friday sales in the afternoon/evening ?

I've been too busy planning our Christmas/Anniversary Disney world trip, I forgot all about black Friday 
We are going to be at Disney world on black Friday too. I did a little research and in the past DTD has participated in black Friday sales. I found info on the disneyparksblogs from 2012 but I haven't found any info about this year. I'm going to call a few of the stores at DTD on Monday or Tuesday. I will post what I find out.
I don't normally do in store shopping on black Friday, but big discounts on Disney merchandise ~ I'm there!

There are also outlets right across the highway from the WDW resort that probably have some pretty awesome BF deals.

Oh my gosh, Angie--what a cool idea!! We won't be in WDW until Saturday, so I'm stuck with the local big box stores for black friday shopping. I'll look forward to hearing about your great finds when we meet up at MVMCP!

I heard that Target is having some kind of 20% off sale and that would include Disney gift cards. Add a 5% redcard cash back and...sounds like free Turkey Legs to me.

I know the official Disney outlet store, Disney's character warehouse, has two locations. One at each of the Orlando Premium Outlets. The closest to DTD is the outlet on Vineland Ave, but it is still a few miles away from DTD. This location recently added free shuttle transport to/from certain resorts, so yours might be included in that. The other outlet is on I-Drive, near Universal Studios.
Both of these outlets are participating in Black Friday deals, but I didn't find anything specific. All I know is they have official Disney merchandise, that is up to 50%, on a regular day, so I hope the Black Friday deals are even better than that

I called both Disney's Character Warehouse stores, at each Orlando Premium Outlet. Both women I spoke with said they wouldn't know what the black Friday promo's are going to be until a day or two before. The OPO on I-drive said the only BF promo she knows so far is on watches, w/ prices starting as low as $5.95.
The hours to both stores will be 12midnight on Thanksgiving night until 11pm Friday night. So we have 23 hours to get to the store to find some great Disney merchandise bargains
