WDW Romantic Ideas

I'm sure we all have differing ideas of what is "romantic." If you had a friend going to WDW for the first time with their significant other and wanted to give them advice, what would you advise them to do.

First one that comes to mind for me is: Laying in a hammock at the Polynesian and watching Wishes. (On a not too crowded night).

What are your ideas?

Hey Brad,

WDW has what they call Specialty Cruises aboard their Sea Ray® 52' Sedan Bridge Yacht, the Grand 1. You can get more information by going to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/moreMagic/otherRecDetail?id=OtherRecSpecialtyCruisesDetailPage. Hope this helps!

Looks cool!!

I think the theme parks at night are pretty romantic. Especially if you stick around a while after the parks close. Smile

DW and I really like to have a romantic dinner in Japan and then spend the evening on the beach over at the Yacht and Beach club. It's really quiet out there, but there's so much going on around you to watch at the Boardwalk and the resorts.

Epcot has a lot of winners in the 'romance' department.

That's a great one! I remember the price being somewhere around $30, is that right?

I totally forgot about the sleigh rides. Anyone know how often they happen and how far you have to book ahead?

I think I'd miss the snow... sad laugh

You just have to believe hard enough! (Or proffer the right amount of cash. Anything's possible in WDW with the application of enough green!)

Sitting on that platform near Everest and watching it at night can be quite relaxing and nice, however the screams from people riding it may reduce the "romantic" factor.

Another weird one I like is Kali River Rapids during EMH. It's never crowded so you can just ride around as many times as you like and being wet and cold is good for snuggling.

The railing at Narcoosee's can be another nice place to watch wishes. You can get a nice dinner there and then either get a window seat or go out to the railing outside.

I like riding around as many times as I like, but the whole wet and cold thing doesn't strike me as all that romantic... laugh (Then again, there was that whole scene in Titanic... sarcastic )
