We must go more often!

I've come pretty close to convincing hubby we should get a WDW annual pass every other year, so we go to WDW at least once a year - say, December 2013 and October 2014 (with maybe a spring 2014 trip in the middle if I can talk him into it). Then skip a year till December 2015 and start all over again.

However, next year is a big birthday for hubby - let's just say it ends in a 0 and leave it at that. So of course we need to take a vacation to celebrate, and it must be HIS choice, and that will not involve either Orlando or Anaheim. He says Europe. (I'm pushing for Paris! They've got a Disneyland there!)

But even if he'd rather go to Italy or Poland or Greece or who knows where, at least I know there will be a lot more Disney in my vacation future. And I have an ending-in-0 birthday about a year after hubby's, and I have already decided where I want to go. WDW if we have an annual pass - Disneyland Resort in California if we don't.

Dang, trip planning is FUN!

We are sooo on the same page! We've been twice this year, after an absence of 14 years! eek Next year we are contemplating going to California - San Francisco, Yosemite, Carmel, etc., ending in L.A. And of course, we would be so close to Disneyland, it would be criminal NOT to drop by, right? laugh You can never have too much Disney.

That's my spiel, anyway, and I think it's working. I've even put on the old home movies of me in Disneyland in the early sixties, just hoping the "awww" factor would help persuade Peter that it's a must do. Jeff has confirmed for me that the weather is great in the fall in California too, so I'm going to assume we will go, and do all the "research" I can. That means I'm reading trip reports and daydreaming like crazy, trying to ignore the snow flakes that are falling right now.

I can't wait to actually start planning - you are right, that's so much fun.

finngirl, I agree - you cannot possibly go to Southern California and not visit Disneyland!

And Robyn, if we do end up in Paris, you'd come do Disneyland Paris with us, right? (Or who knows, he might decide he wants to go to London....)

DH actually brought up this same idea on his OWN when we were at Disney! I was so proud! Something to possibly look forward to in the future now that I have Jon hooked on Disney, too biggrin
