Whaat-cha' Watchin?

With ABC. ABC Family, Disney Channel, Disney XD and ESPN there are lots of choice to turn to for a little Disney TV fix. What are your favorite shows right now? Are there any that you just won't miss?

I am obsessed with Once Upon a Time on ABC. It's in a hiatus right now and has been for a few weeks and it's driving me crazy...can't wait for it to come back so I can get my fairytale fix!!

yay Again, like everyone else, I LOVE Once Upon A Time. Love the storylines and fresh take on all our favorite fairytales. Also love Revenge. Emily is doing what everyone has thought about doing once in their life.

Dancing with the Stars is always great every season it is on. This cast this season is great!! awesome

mad Sad to see Zero Hour and 666 Park Avenue go though. I loved both shows and can't wait to see the rest of their episodes this summer.

I had hopes for Zero Hour, I too was very sad that one didn't really pan out. I am absolutely in love with 'Scandal' it's my can't miss for any reason show right now and I don't think that it's getting the credit that it deserves. It really reminds me of a lot of Aaron Sorkin's work, they're making some major political statements on the show. I'm quite amazed that it hasn't gotten more outside press notice.

Big Once Upon a Time fan. They keep me guessing, which is always a great trait for a show. Interesting to see Robin Hood coming up.
Noticed you asked what you are missing, and with the passing of Annette Funicello, I've been thinking about the orginal Disney Channel, back when there was a The before it. Back when it was a premium channel, it had newer movies and the programing seemed of much better quality. They also featured concerts at night that my parnets enjoyed and now I could see myself enjoying too. I understand the need to change with time, but I sure wish they would go retro every now and then instead of all the teeny stuff they show now.

I've got a few must see shows: Once Upon A Time (Hello Hook you handsome devil), Revenge, Scandal, and of course a show I've been in love with since the very beginning (thought its not Disney) - Big Bang Theory!

I couldn't agree more! I had the opportunity to interview the President of the Disney Channel back in 2011 and I addressed some of those same feelings to her. Unfortunately adults aren't where there business model is focused and it's very unlikely that it will return. I was told that nothing is impossible when it comes to content that's already owned, but that the focus was moving in other directions. I think that it would really take a huge does of pixie dust to make it happen.

Love seeing all my fellow Once-ers around here! I love Rumplestiltskin as well, Kristen--his actor is on one of my other favorite (cancelled far too early, sad!) shows, Stargate Universe, and he's just as tricksy on that show, too! And I really like Neal (Emma's former love interest/Henry's father) too--I'm excited for his character to start really developing (especially when we get to Neverland!!).

I love him too! He was on the first season of TrueBlood and I was so sad when they killed off his character.

I very rarely watch ABC. Everytime I look to see what is on one of the Disney channels, it's always the teen shows. So, to answer you question about the networks listed above, my favorite show would be Monday Night Football on ESPN.

My favorite shows are on CBS - Amazing Race, How I Met Your Mother, Criminal Minds (Shemar Moore muchlove ), CSI (the original) and Big Bang Theory.

My favorite show on ABC Family is Bunheads - love Sutton Foster and Kelly Bishop. I don't watch ABC much but I watch CBS-Big Bang Theory, Person of Interest and Blue Bloods (Tom Selleck muchlove ) and NBC Law and Order-SVU since the very beginning. I try to get some culture every now and again laugh and love, Love, LOVE Downton Abbey.

I do miss American tv (apart for the ad breaks, come on you do need that mane breaks Wink )

We used to get dancing with the stars played over here, it's way better than the uk version but the channel is too cheap to pay for it now Sad

I am watching american idol (please ditch niki, can't stand her), 2 broke girls, smash, glee, the new normal, Big Bang theory. I like a lot of US tv. We have a new show over here called plebs, it's along the same sort of lines as the inbetweeners (love that show) but set BC. It's very funny. Only on episode 3 or 4 though. We don't have once upon a time, though it sounds good!

Aside from a little sports on ESPN and the ABC news, the only show I watch on any of those Disney-affiliated channels is Castle, and I watch that "on demand," not when it originally airs because I try to switch into getting ready for bed mode by 10:00 p.m.

What I am watching, in chronological order starting with Sunday: The Amazing Race (CBS), How I Met Your Mother (CBS), the aforementioned Castle (ABC), NCIS (CBS), Psych (USA), The Big Bang Theory (CBS), Two and a Half Men (CBS), and...that's it. No wait, The Americans (on TNT, I believe), but I also watch that "on demand" because it's on opposite Psych.

I'd just wish they'd consider such another channel with some retro programing and some more grown up things. Funny thing is when I did a google search for old Disney Channel programing, I came up with shows like Lizze McGuire and Even Stephens. Talk about making me feel old.

A friend mentione that he thinks Neal is also Petter Pan, and I think he may on to something.

Right now, I don't really like any shows on any of the Disney-owned channels. I'm interested in Gravity Falls on DXD, but I haven't gotten around to watching it. If Disney ends up moving Star Wars: The Clone Wars to DXD, I'll definitely be watching it (Season 5 was amazing!!).

On other channels, I watch Amazing Race [CBS] (glad to see there are some other Amazing Race fans on here!), Chopped [Food Network], Top Chef [Bravo], Revolution [Fox?], and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic [Hub]. I know that last one probably seems pretty weird (and unmanly...), but it's actually really funny.

My DVR is filling up with Disney movies I've been finding on Starz and other networks. I discovered another network that I think I'm going to enjoy - Destination America. I have scheduled to record Undiscovered Disney Parks, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disneyland Resort: Behind the Scenes and Ultimate Walt Disney World.

Disney week on Destination America starts on Monday. Walt Disney World: Behind the Scenes and Disney Cruise Line: Behind the Magic will also be recorded next week.

Thanks for the heads up, JoAnn! I just set the DVR. I think I've seen the Walt Disney World Resort one before, but the Cruise Line one is new!
