I usually have to bring my camera, cell phone, wallet, sunscreen, water bottle, room key and ticket... way too much stuff!!! But I won't tolerate a huge backpack, so I make sure I can get everything into a little drawstring backpack.

1. Backpack
2. Camera (of course!)
3. Tripod when I know I'll be there for the evening or fireworks/parades
4. Bottled water (that I bought at a Winn-Dixie and refilled)
5. Wet-Wipes
6. Cell phone
7. Beach towels if I'm staying for parades or Illuminations. They make staking your "territory" a lot easier when waiting for Illuminations 1 hour before it starts.
8. A folder containing pictures of all the pins that we own just in case we do pin trading with other pin traders.
Believe it or not, 2-8 all fit into 1.

I bring:
A small wallet with room key, pass, money, credit card, insurance cards...
A pill bottle with assorted advil, tums, allergy meds, stomach meds (health issues, need lots of meds)
Camera
Cell Phone
Sunglasses
Lip Balm
Pashmina
Bottle of water on a strap
All of that stuff fits in a small crossbody messenger type bag. If it's warm or cold enough that I won't need to carry the pashmina, I use an even smaller crossbody bag.
I wish I could get the list down to things I could just carry in my pockets like DS & DH do, but it's never gonna happen. I've been trimming that list down to the bare minimum since we first started going in 1993 & I carried a backpack & fannypack.

Everyone just assumed you'd have those ZapperZ!
Leota's idea with insurance cards is a really good one. I never thought about that either. I mean, what can go wrong in the most magical place on earth?!?
I'm another one who brings next to nothing. Though DW had the great idea a few years back to put my wallet in a plastic ziploc bag when we go on water rides, so we always carry that with us.

I usually decide beforehand whether it's a "picture taking" venture or not. I prefer to only carry my camera some of the time. Particularly if I'm going on a water ride.

Wha... wha...... what?!
I don't understand this. You mean {gulp} there are times that you go to a Disney theme park without.... ... bringing your camera?
{trembling}
Is...... Is...... Is this legal??!!

ZZ will be downright apoplectic when he finds out I don't even HAVE a pin collection to bring with me!
Hee hee! I used to go without my camera all the time, but now that I've joined this board I'm going to have to start taking some pics!! I want to join in!
I have to admit, I am a photo slacker. I bought myself a small Sony Cybershot so I wouldn't have to lug our big old Canon around & I still rarely use it.
Good idea on the ziploc bags, Space Ace! When I used to carry a backpack, I did carry a couple bags, but over the years trimmed that back. A couple years ago, we got blasted by the water cannon on Splash & I was totally unprepared for it. My firiend's cell phone was actually ruined from it. I think I'll stick one in this trip to be on the safe side.

And that water cannon has become a regular occurance. I remember a few years back when only every fifth log or so got blasted; now it's just about every one (at least, that's how my mind remembers it!). I haven't ridden Splash in the past two years without getting completely soaked.
if you don't get soaked, it's time to ride it again.
I always bring
A small bag that has
- water bottle
- Camera (in a water proof case from now on!)
- Medicine (Excedrin and Advil in case a headache sneaks up on us!)
- Extra sunglasses
- Extra glasses straps
Hi, All! I use a Baggalini wallet bag. It is made of the durable nylon and has slots so you can keep your cards without carrying a big wallet. It has a shoulder strap or can be worn as a fannie pack. It is amazing how much I squeeze in there! I carry:
poncho
tissues (allergies)
various cards (license, insurance, atm, credit card, KTTW, etc)
small bottle with tylenol, etc.
cell phone
small (3 oz) sun screen
mini spritzer fan (in summer, got it at Brookstone, much tinier than the big bottles they sell at the parks)
lip balm
I don't carry a camera, DH handles the photography!!! I wear my sunglasses on a strap around my neck and wear a cap with a velcro-back so I can loop it around the wallet bag if I want to take it off. It's good to be hands-free!
That's an impressive collection! Do you bring the pancho even if it's sunny? Florida weather can be...unpredictable.
Yeah, the poncho is pretty much standard equipment, just in case of the afternoon shower. It doesn't weigh much and is easily squish-able into the bag.

So many of you well-prepared Mouseketeers that bring your insurance card. I'm starting to feel like I've been reckless up to now.

Lol, I have this weird thing that I have to take my insurance card with me no matter where I go. I have this fear that I'm going to have an accident and be unconcious and the hospital that takes me won't know my insurance info.
Crazy...I know!

Have I really not responded here, yet?!?
I try to keep it simple: I have a little silk "wallet" that my friend brought me from Thailand which holds my park tickets, driver's license, money, credit card, Tables in Wonderland card, room key. Then I clip a neoprene camera pouch onto my shorts.
That's it!
We carry a bag with the usual but we also carry water, and I have to have 2 sets of glasses (prescription sun for outside and clear for inside.)

I have taken to wearing my contacts less and less, but I HAVE to wear them in the parks. Otherwise I worry about my glasses constantly.
I Just can't get them in, my eyes are very narrow. Wish I could.

Considered surgery? I'm a bit reluctant as I figure I can get by now and I'm not sure it's worth the risk of blurry vision (although I think that's quite rare).
I just started wearing them 3 years ago and I can get by without them too. So I don't want the risk yet.

No need to worry about your glasses in the parks. I wore mine last time, no problem. I do carry a spare set, though, "just in case".
