What to get for first timers

My cousin and her husband are taking their 2 little girls to WDW for the first time in march. The girls are 5 and 3. My cousin and her husband have been before with out kids and I know they are super excited to take them. I've offered my advice on a few things here and there but I'm at a loss when it comes to planning with kids.

Anyways...I wanted to send the girls (because i love them with all my heart!) a little something for their trip. I was thinking Minnie Mouse sunglasses for the 3 year old (riley) because she is in LOVE with Minnie. and then something princess related for Emma, the 4 year old. My other thought was an autograph book, do they like autographs at that age? I'm not really sure.

Those of you with little ones, any other suggestions...?

I think autograph books are fun at any age, and for younger kids, the autograph books that double up as a photo album make great keepsakes!

What about some Minnie ears or princess tiara that they can wear? Or matching personlised t-shirts (would look great in the photos!)

i was going to do the ears and tiaras but my cousin told me last night that they are so excited to get them matching ears with theirs names on them. So i want to stay away from those things. ( don't want to step on toes). I like the matching shirt idea!!

Super cute idea! There are so many fun matching shirts on Etsy that would be great for them to wear in the parks! Also maybe some items like glow sticks for night time, the Princess wands, a disposable camera so they can take pictures from their view...

I say go with the autograph book and pen. I'm 43 and I love mine so I'm sure a 3 and 5 year would love them.

I think i've decided to go with tshirts and sunglasses. Not matching though, they are into different things. Even though Riley loves her princesses she holds a special place in her heart for Minnie. I found this adorable minnie mouse tshirt on the disney store website and really cute sunglasses. I'll probably get Emma, the older one, a princess tshirt, most likely Snow White. When we went for our honeymoon she asked me to tell Snow White she said Hi. So I waited in line in the pouring rain to take a picture with snow white and text it to my cousin. The girls live in Texas so I can just have the disney store ship to them which will be super easy.

I asked my mom if she wanted to go in on anything with me, but she already bought Emma a bunch of stuff from William Sonoma for her birthday. Emma likes to "bake" and W-S has snow white baking utensils. Spatulas, cupcake tins, cookie cutters, and a bunch of other stuff. I have been buying Ed the Cars and Star Wars stuff for awhile now. I love that they now have princess stuff!

I love all of these ideas! I'd send Mom & Dad a Passporter, and maybe Disney tutu's for the girls!

We'll have to check out the Williams Sonoma stuff!

I think you've decided, but I would definitely throw my hat into the ring for autograph books and special pens. Another great idea, even for little ones, is a lanyard and a pin, to start a pin collection. It's something they will never forget and will treasure.

Hope they have a fantastic time!

Where do you buy the collection book? I love this idea! I think this is one of the coolest souvenirs that you can get from Disney. DD has a couple of them, but now I think we'll try to concentrate on getting more for her!

I enjoy the pins personally. Either collecting them off CM's or just going to the store and buying them. They have a lot of "YEAR" ones that will help ya remember when ya went. Usually good for first timers and such.
