I'm totally not a "get soaked" water ride type of person, but I would choose Splash Mountain. I haven't actually been on Kali River because I don't want to get soaked. Riding it next month though for sure.

I prefer Kali. true it doesn't have a great story but..it really does soak you! SM is hit

Now yeah... if your goal is to come out like you went over the Niagara falls in a barrel, then Kali is it for you... lol 
Me... I like the choice of getting drenched or not on SM. Want drenched... get in the front... wanna drop.... get in back. Want soaked liked a dog... ride Kali!

I agree with DD, Kali River really soaks you anD Splash Mountain is hit or miss, but Mase, we have gotten soaked on SM when we sat in the back. If your log gets stopped on the side next to the big drop, you got a very good chance of getting soaked from the next log that comes down the drop. Has happened to us several times. I think I go with SM.

There's no question that Kali gets you the wettest, but Splash Mountain is one of my all-time favorite rides.
