What if (edition 5).....

What if you could only choose one thrill ride to do which would it be? Tower of Terror or Test Track?

well since I dont consider Test Track "thrilling" at all, I'm going with ToT. Even if I DID consider it a thrill ride, I'd choose ToT!

ps
WDW's is much better than DL's

at DL, you still get the library and then the secondary queue. But once you're in the Elevator you start in the elevator shaft. No traveling from room to room. You simply go up a couple of floors, the doors open and you wave goodbye to your image..then they re-tell the story a little and you see an image of an elevator dropping...
then you get the first "mini-drop" after that you immediately shoot all the way up to the top and the doors open, you get to see your view, pic snaps.. then you drop and shoot back up randomly.. up to.. well I'm not sure what the max is, but I've been on it when we've done 4 trips to the top.

I just feel WDW ties in the story of Twilight Zone better with the ride.. I mean, the name of the ride is Twilight Zone Tower of Terror right? They have Twilight Zone merch in the shops after.. (well they used to have a LOT more but it seems they dont have as much anymore).
Also, because you travel from room to room it just feels like more of an "experience" and less of a "ride"

Yeah.... I can see that. Seems like the initial drop is a bit more interesting. To me the one at WDW... you know its coming because you can feel it getting off the tram. Is that the same in DL?

well.. they try to trick you.. they do a lil.. droppy shimmy thing.. then it stops and you take a breath relaxing.. then you drop..and shoot all the way up... that lil trick they do is actually pretty good cuz it really fools people

TOT for me, I'd be riding solo though as Mrs T refuses to go on it.

Test Track for me...I love it and I'm not a big fan of thrill rides so that's about as exciting as I can do...LOL

Being the car nut that I am I have to go with TestTrack for sure. ToT is great but just not car related.

Sounds pretty cool. That is just my only complaint with ToT in WDW. You know when your gonna drop for the most part. But still love the ride. Its my favorite period.

ToT! I could ride it all day. I do enjoy TT though as well, but if I had to choose, ToT! Yes!!

Oh my, I love them both!

But I guess I'd choose ToT, by a tiny bit. There's nothing scarier than that Twightzone song...well...maybe Summit Plummit...

I think Test Track is actually one of my least favorite of the "thrill rides." Definitely ToT for me.

Well seeing as though I've been on ToT a total of once in all of my Disney years I'm going with Test Track. Test track is not very thrilling to me, but I despise ToT. I haven't been on it in 15 years. This just might be the year I face the fear.

I know many people who have gone from hating to loving ToT on their second try, so I recommend you give it another try!

I'm seriously thinking about trying it again. It will be easier for me to conquer this fear than to ride RNRC. I guess that's why I usually only visit DHS once a trip.

Scrappy never liked ToT either until recently. She still onlylikes it when it goes up & down like 3 times, no more.

For a thrill ride I would have to pick TOT. It still scares me but that is part of the thrill of it. I do not mind Test Track but I do not find it all that thrilling either.
