I am finding the mustard vs. ketchup quite amusing. Seems like was all feel strongly one way or the other.

I used to be an "only mustard on the dog" fan, but a college roomie ate ketchup on everything and I was horn-swoggled into having ketchup on hot dogs. I came to find the sweet/salty combo of mustard and ketchup on a good dog quite irresistible.

And I have to rat out Kim to you all . . . She likes MAYO on her dogs. I want to gag. . . yuck

My daughter dips her hot dogs in mayo as well....lol

Cool! I love chipotle mayo or a smidgen of plain mayo with veggies on burgers, so I can see this being good.

A place back home serves them steamed like others were talking about and they are topped with sweet relish, diced red onion, tomato, mustard and grated cheddar cheese. So when I can I eat mine with grated cheese.

..the only way I'll put ketchup on French fries is if the fries are soggy and tasteless AND there's no barbecue sauce available.

This made me realize that I categorize french fries by type and then determine whether ketchup, malt vinegar or just plain salt is most appropriate for optimal enjoyment.

I think that I just found myself most disturbing as well....

laugh No, not disturbing, just organized. Or OCD.
Do you also have a special order in which you eat said fries? Smallest to largest? Save the crispy bits for last? One at a time or multiple fry bites? Condiment on the fries or separate? Single dip and eat the whole fry, or are you a biter (!) then a double dipper? eek laugh

Inquiring minds. . . Really want to know if you share their neuroses!!! biggrin

At The Lunching Pad under the Astro Orbiter

They have specialty hot dogs (Philly dog, taco dog or Coney Island dog), chips, cold beverages and frozen slushes.

Thanks for the back-up, PirateGirl!!! That is exactly what it means!
I was deceived into having ketchup on my dogs by a tricksy friend who knew I was too hungry and too polite to spit out the first bite. laugh

You're so welcome Ollie. I am sorry that you were hornswoggled into eating a hotdog with ketchup but I would feel the same way if someone made me eat one with yellow mustard. Now if it was with spicy brown mustard I would give it a go! Not much of a fan of yellow mustard. Smile
