What's the "Must Try" at Earl of Sandwhich?

Everyone's a huge fan of this place and I'm not really on the boat yet. What do I need to get there that's going to win me over?

Everything DW and I have had has been fantastic. Really. Not just pretty tasty, but likely the best (of that type of sammich) we've ever had. DW's favorite is the Italian, while mine is the Full Montagu (which is equally delicious with or without the mustard - I got it without the first time because I wasn't sure I'd like it). In addition to being out-of-this-world delicious, it is perhaps the best dining value in all of WDW (including other DTD eateries). Their prices are outstanding and for us the portions are just right. Also, as has been mentioned in other threads, your DDP is good here!

p.s. The bread is baked to order (literally, your sammie starts with dough - though I suspect it is partially cooked)! Take THAT Subway...

Thanks for the menu, LIFL! The line is always SO long here. Next time, though, I'm going right when it opens and trying this:

The Original 1762® - Freshly Roasted Beef, Cheddar Cheese & Creamy Horseradish Sauce

My absolute favorite is the holiday sandwich they serve around Thanksgiving. Yummm! It's like a turkey dinner on a sandwich.

Sorry we didn't welcome you Kimberly!

Does anyone know if they have any other seasonal sandwiches?

I didn't notice they served Guinness there, although I suppose I should have expected that. I could see that being a great combo with a sandwich, especially when you first get there. Get your relaxation on!

While I can't give up my traditional first meal in the MK, I have to say that the idea of a good beer to put me in vacation mode sounds like a great idea.

OMG I LOVE EARL OF SANDWICH!

We are staying a night off-site before checking in .... and I am thinking the good ole Earl or Pei Wei for dinner that night.

My first Earl of Sandwich was actually in the Wellington, Fla. mall (suburb of West Palm Beach) while visiting friends. Then we found out that it was at DTD and used a TABLE CREDIT at the Earl for each of our past 2 trips (since we were on Deluxe).

I really love the Italian, and the brownie sandwich! I took the brownie sandwich with me on the plane and it traveled well since it comes in a plastic container.

There is an Earl of Sanwich in Houston, but somehow it is not the same. Still good though. Just short on Pixie Dust I think.
